I just checked out the Spellbinders website and it doesn't look like they are selling the charm embossing kit anymore. To use embossing folders in the wizard you need the charm embossing kit. I don't know if you will be able to find what you need to use those items in the Wizard since Spellbinders isn't making that machine any longer.

Have you looked at other die cutting machines? Big Shot, eBosser, Grand Calibur?

I own a purple Wizard (love it!) and use embossing folders between the two white cutting plates (have for the many years I've owned it). I believe the charm kit was intended for things like flattening bottle caps. The blue mat from the charm kit is not as thick so if you find the cutting mats/EF sandwich too thick for your machine, you would want the charm kit.

ETA: I am, however, considering the Evolution by WeRMemoryKeepers because it will have an option for electric operation. I think it also accommodates larger EFs but haven't done thorough research yet ($ not in budget so trying to resist temptation)

If you go with an older model (especially a discontinued one) be aware it could be hard to find replacements for the consumables (i.e. cutting plates) used with it.

I haven't looked for sources in awhile because I stocked up when Spellbinders released the Grand Calibur (and also had a long period of time with minimal crafting and use of the machine) but one of the better prices I found was at Walmart (online ... many more items, lots of crafty things, are available on surprising websites including Walmart and Sears). Walmart has a ship-to-store option so if picking up at a store is possible you can save on shipping fees.

There's no Walmart in England - I don't know how much Asda carries from its affiliation.

you may want to try a board based in England because people are upgrading all the time and might just want the space. I know UKScrappers is a craftrobo digital cutting based board but no tool exists in a vacuum so they may be able to point in you in the right direction with regard to selection/affordability/consumables in England. HTH.

OOPS ... I didn't look at the OP's location. Hoping the suggestions Kristen (Riverisis) made work out.

Congratulations! You can use any embossing folder or die that will fit in the opening of the Cuttlebug . Measure the cutting plates when you get the machine so you don't mistakenly buy a die or embossing folder that is too wide for the machine.

If you find a die that is too long but the width will fit into the opening of the machine they sell extra long cutting plates to use with those dies .

If it is a newer model Cuttlebug they did not come with a "C" cutting/embossing plate and you need one of those ( or extra pieces of chipboard ) to cut thin dies. I don't think the CB came with the Spellbinders embossing mat either . You need that to emboss Spellbinder dies .

There is a section here that answers most questions about a Cuttlebug
Forums at Splitcoaststampers

You should not have any problem buying replacement cutting plates and such.
My Cuttlebug is 6 + years old and still working

If you have questions just let us know. Everyone is very helpful here

You will be fine for embossing folders.

You will need a rubber gasket if you want to emboss thin dies such as Spellbinders - I got mine from Spellbinders but other people have gotten the gasket from Home Improvement stores.

I removed this suggestion of buying a tan embossing pad at Hobby Lobby after I saw you live in England. Sorry
