Thanks for posting this. I am printing for future reference.

I will say that I use a Cuttlebug and don't use the sandwich order they recommend for "open" dies like the Spellbinders. If you place the die face up, as they recommend, and then put the paper on top, you can't see where you are cutting. A lot of times I stamp first, then center the die over my image and die cut.

When I use Spellbinders, I use the A plate, then the B plate, paper, die face down and centered, and the C plate on top. I always want to cut into my B plate because it's less expensive than the C plate and easier to find when you need replacements.

Ditto this - although I use a Big Kick. I line up my image and use some repositionable tape to hold it in place and cut upwards. Got into the habit with the 2x6 cuttlebug dies - if you cut downward with those, the dies will warp just like your acrylic plates. For some reason, if you cut upward, no warped dies
