I've had a similar experience to vickohl above. I'm not entirely sorry I got it, but it's not quite as universally useful in my particular Cuttlebug as I hoped it would be. Some sandwiches I've tried were just too scary and I could tell I was endangering my 'Bug.
As I understand it, the "no more shims" name refers to the idea behind the product: the mat is supposed to be thick and spongy, but very compressible (in other words, it squishes to whatever thickness your sandwich needs). Thus, it would eliminate the need to shim differently for every little variation in dies and paper that you own.
It's a great idea, but from various comments I've read around the internet, the success of it seems to vary depending on your personal machine.
