Nope. Sorry :( I don't fly in until Friday evening. I'll be setting up the Copic Booth and visiting the certification class and the SCS booth on Saturday though. I'll be around, but I'll also be all over the place :)

Well, that's the Hobby Lobby list. That's a great resource too, but Archiver's has a different selection - at least mine does. The selection available at Archiver's may vary from location to location for all I know. Thanks though!

Does anyone know what a good darker green would blend with YG03 and YG07?

Thank you for any help.
Kari

ilikemarkers 02-01-2010 01:32 PM

YG03, YG07, G28. I know it breaks the form, but it will blend well, trust me.

cdnscrapper 02-01-2010 02:00 PM

Thank you so much Marianne, I really appreciate your help.

Do you have any suggestions for partnering up with BG13 & BG45.

Thank You,
Kari

ilikemarkers 02-01-2010 02:17 PM

You might try going to BG09 or BG18. If that's not dark enough then add the G28 as well.

cdnscrapper 02-01-2010 03:21 PM

Thanks Marianne, that really helps. Ok a few more for you because you are on a roll and I bought my first batch of copics without a real plan of blending...

Lighter and Darker colors to work with Y38
Lighter and Darker to go with B26
Lighter Orange to go with YR09

Thank you so much for your help, it is so appreciated.
Kari

ilikemarkers 02-02-2010 02:46 PM

Y38, Y15 and YR04 or YR16 (a little darker)
B26, B24, B21, B29
YR09, YR04

cdnscrapper 02-02-2010 03:14 PM

Thank you so much Marianne for all of the help. You are the Copic Guru.

Kari

question--can I use the standard fine replacement nibs that are for the original markers in the sketch markers? I don't think I'll ever use the broad nib on the other end of the sketch, but if I can put fine nibs in, I think I would use them... does anyone know?

The only replacement nib that works in the sketch and the ciao marker is the "medium round", the fine nib is only offered in the original copic.

I use my chisel end all the time for coloring my ribbon to match:D

bjtstamper 02-08-2010 06:58 PM

Can you color directly on rubber stamps with Copic markers, like you can with the SU Markers?
