I was wondering where everyone got their plastic test tubes that they used for Halloween? I've found some at Michaels from MS, but haven't been able to find anymore since then.
I think many of us are wondering the same thing. I've looked at some online sites but you have to buy a huge amount and I don't need tubes by the 100's!! I'm thinking that the Martha ones will be half off the day after Halloween so I will be there early Saturday morning trying to scoop some up.
Thanks for the links! Do you buy the glass ones? What about the stoppers. Which do you get? Oh, why am I looking to buy anything. My daughter needs $2100 piece of metal put in her mouth and I so need to not shop. Sigh.......that's what credit cards are for.
I ordered two of the kits which have 8 tubes in them. They are the same kits from MS at Michaels. I got them from emmaspaperie.com She was super fast and everything was packaged so beautifully.
I have seen these (in a package of 3, I believe) at Hobby Lobby near their jewelry making supplies. They are large bead tubes. Look just like the MS ones. Sorry, I don't remember how much they were.
I saw some at my Crafts 2000 store in Monroe Michigan. I'm not sure if they were plastic or glass though. To let you know they were in the back corner in the "discount" area.
OK, I give up. What do you do with the test tubes?
Well, I use them for my experiments at work. ha ha ha. I crack myself up.
It's amazing the alterables I can find around the lab. And we get the neatest containers delivered here, too!! I knew this degree in science was going to come in handy someday.

I am right there with you, but eventually I figured out what they were saying to direct you to the picture. All of these comments that people are leaving are numbered; I never noticed that before until now. The number of the post is on the top right of the comment. Look for the reply on #11. If you run your curser over the work "lisa", it goes to a link. Hope that helps!
Thanks Sheryl for posting my link to the Test Tube Holders I created...In case you missed them they are in my gallery here on SCS with links to the tutorials

These are so cute, Lisa! Especially the Halloween one!
Does anyone have these files that could email them to me? I cannot get the latest version of Flash player to download on my computer, so I cannot get the files from the site Lisa is using. I would so appreciate it!
I got mine from sks.bottle too. They are a great company to work with and ship very quickly. The smallest number you could buy was 48 for about $20. I ended up ordering oval ones by mistake and they were great about taking care of the problem - even though it was my error.
I can see them as gifts filled with toppings for ice cream or stamping supplies or single "shots" of hot chocolate and mini marshmallows. I'm so excited at the possibilities.
A HUGE thank you to Lisa S. for the tutorials. I have a feeling I'll be making all of them!:-D
