My Epsom photo stylus printer is old. Looking for a new one. Any recommendations?

May I ask why you are looking? TBH many printers are readily available. I would like a new wireless but at the moment my HP is going strong. I bought a Canon Pixma for my college student and he loves it. It does wireless printing and has a quick setup.

Epsom are great for photos.

Whatever you decide you may want to look at a CISS (Continuous Ink Supply System) for it. It keeps the costs down and I have to say I love mine and wonder why I waited so long.

I'm looking because the model I have (R800) is no longer supported nor updated. No matter what I do photos no longer print nicely. I do like how Epson has the multiple ink cartridges so if you run low on cyan you just buy that and not waste ink.

Yeah, it sounds like it is on its last legs. Best of luck, I bet you will get more replies soon. Epson are still a great brand.

I'm not brand loyal. There are too many out there that are both affordable and do great printing. I have a canon pixma. My sister has an HP. We love them both. It's more of a matter of $.

What I did is go into the stores and had them demo them for me. That's why I know there are all kinds that do great printing. If you go on a Saturday yes you will get a lot more store traffic, but you will most likely have a company rep there to talk to and have them demo it to you. You can call the office supply stores and find out when for instance the HP rep will be there etc. That is my suggestion to find what YOU want.

We will all tell you brands that we love. I love Epson too. My first 2 printers ever were Epson. I got the canon simply because I knew someone who had 2 and they sold me 1 for 20 and I had liked the demonstration that I saw previously at the store.

I do wish you luck. I hope that what you get works for you.

Kat

Just to add if you go to a store that demos take a few sheets of paper/cardstock you would like to use in it to see what the feed is like or ask them to demostrate that.

I have an old HPphotosmart 3210 (I think) and it doesn't take the Recollections 110lb but does take their 65lb cardstock - so that is what I used to print out graduation announcements.

Well I bought one. I purchased an Epson Artisan 1430. It's wide format and prints beautifully!! It is wireless but took HOURS to get it to work and that's with my hubby doing it and he is an IT guy. Very pleased.

You'll like the Artisan 1430. I bought one last fall and love it. It was a bit of a challenge to get the wireless going, and then my router crapped out so I had to do it again. But the second time worked on the first attempt.

Getting the wireless set up was a huge pain the back side, and my hubby is an IT guy! But now I'm printing and it is great.

I just purchased the Canon Selphy CP910, so far I am very happy with it. It is very small and portable. The pictures have been excellent.
