Default Pencils, Markers, Crayons??

I'm making out my Christmas list for DH. I think it might be time for some new coloring tools. I have the SU watercolor pencils and markers, as well as one set of watercolor crayons that I have yet to figure out.

What are your must haves for coloring? Any suggestions would be appreciated and if you could include the best place to get them at the best price, would be even better!

TIA!

I am getting all of the SU watercolor crayons except the pastel set. I think you can water down the others to make the light colors. I may be wrong. I don't have the su colored pencils but I use my prisma colored pencils all of the time. I got them from Dick Blick (dickblick.com) They have good prices. We have a store in town so I didn't have to order on line.

You also have the Chalk Sets option... I have not yet gotten into this, but probably will by the end of this year.

I use my prisma colors more than anything else. I got mine at Michael's with a 50% coupon...yep the whole 120 set that actually had another set of lightfast pencils for free. And my hubby was with me so I didn't have to change my name and enter the witness protection program.

I love the SU markers and the SU watercolor crayons. It would be hard to pick which one I like best, but I guess it would be the crayons if I had to chose one. They are great and easy to blend and you can get a rich deep color. If you like a more translucent look go for the markers. I've been doing lots of cards recently with these products, the results are in my gallery. :-) With either one of these choices be sure to add an aqua painter to your list!

I love my Su Water Color Crayons and I use them all the time. I do use my aqua painter lot in addition to my blender pens. I use my blender pens with my crayons, chalks, and my colored pencils.
