You should be able to get all the answers you need here: UKScrappers - its full of info & resources. I always save anything I create, usually nothing very complicated, so you should be able to. I just click File, Save to My Library.....Do remember that saving to ' My Library' does not add it to the programs database, it stores it separately. I found that out the hard way, when my hard drive failed. You can also click on File..Save.. and that WILL add it to the programs database, so I usually do both now.

I found a tutorial on YouTube. It's simpler than it seems.

Make sure your pattern is a jpg
Open SDE
Import/open your pattern
Click File-> Add to my library
Open your library and find your pattern
Click and drag your pattern to the Patterns folder

That should do it.

You're welcome. I just learned this yesterday because I got some really cute digi patterns in a free CD

Where does it save the files to, when you click File... Save? I just tried that with a couple of designs I made today. The first time I tried this, it brought the Silhouette folder I had set up myself. The second time I tried it, it didn't bring up any window at all; it replaced the first file I had saved.

I just tried this myself, because it always used to save it somewhere within the Craftrobo files, but mine is now saving to My Documents, so I assume this is something to do with the various updates there have been. I have started burning off a disk with all my designs on them when I have added to them now- I know I won't lose any then! I have had that too often in the past( hard drive fail, etc), Hubby has set up a file server that does incremental back-ups regularly, but better safe than sorry.
