Default Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set - SU

My wonderful Demo let me borrow her framelits and Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and when I showed her all the ornaments I made she told me that SU had contacted her about one of the stamps being replaced.

She said they were sending a new stamp. I had no issues, whatsoever, with a perfect stamp every time with all the stamps, even using the old style ink pads. She said it was the larger ornament used in the ornament on the cover of the holiday mini catalog.

I then borrowed her Gumball Green new style ink pad and still no problems.

Anybody know what's going on? Just curious since I'm buying these two items in September.

Thanks!

hmm no idea. I'm a demo and didn't see anything about this, and I have that set and haven't gotten any replacement. I'll have to see what's been said about it on the SU demo site.

Just looked and the stamp is slightly different (the image). So it should be fine to use as long as you don't mind the difference. I won't say what it is and maybe you won't notice or mind.

Hi Ladies!

Here's a portion of the email I received from Stampin' Up! regarding this stamp set:
Unfortunately, we have discovered an error with the circular image from this set (see correct image below). We are sending a replacement rubber image and label. You do not need to call Demonstrator Support to receive this replacement; it has been automatically shipped to you. If you donít receive it by September 15, please contact Demonstrator Support.

Not to worry, anyone who ordered this set before the error was discovered is receiving the new sticker and rubber automatically. What awesome customer service! LOVE SU!

Cool! Thanks for the info on the stamp. My Demo wasn't sure which one it was, she just knew she was getting a new stamp.

I've posted 7 ornaments I've made on my blog if you're interested!

Just looked at the image in the catalog and the round stamp - yup I see an issue with the round image - interesting!

Too funny. Never noticed it while I was using that stamp.

Okay, you all made me go look.

But I don't get what's wrong with the circle piece. Somebody clue me in!

Yep, finally saw it too! Just check out all the various elements in the circle. Wouldn't have noticed at all if it hadn't been mentioned.

I think this was corrected early. I ordered the first day that customers could and mine was the corrected stamp.

The smaller round stamp is missing a couple of the dots.
