Default original cricut vs create which one??

Hi
i was wondering if someone can give me guidance as to which product to purchase. I have read details of both profucts and I still don't see the difference. i have seen the original one in use in person and I wanted to know if it uses the paper efficiently? it seemed my friend only used the corner where the blade starts. What is your opinion on which one to get? any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There's very little difference between the 2 bar the create has extra buttons for things like multicut, rotate, autofill and a few others I can't remember. You can use the arrows to move the blade before you start in both machines. If you intend using scal, cds or the gypsy the extra buttons are pretty much redundant as the software takes over.

The inks (basically fat markers) are used to draw your design instead of cut.

HI Kacey- I have the personal cricut here- my SIL hit an amazing deal on the big one- I like mine, and there is a paper saver button so yes you can use the paper efficiently if you wish. I would have to say, in choosing between the two- it depends on what you want to use it for, I like the personal machine as I only tend to cut letters, and shapes for cards and pages, I do not need them too big, but if you want to make titles for your pages, or words (pics) for walls, that you want larger than 6 inches- then the cricut creation would be better for that. One feature I wish mine had was the multicut- as you have to key in what you want a few times or hit repeat- where as with the big one, you basically hit that button for multicuts. I love it when my SIL and I can get to gether to scrap and stamp. I catch up my mulitcuts on hers lol.
