I can tell you the Zip e Mate will *not* take them. They are too wide. I bought one and had to take it back because it wouldn't fit through the machine.

Tracyg.......The 2 machines I can tell you that can take the BigZ dies without any kind of "special arrangements" are the BIGkick and Big Shot and Cuttlebug. They can only fit in one direction with the Cuttlebug.

If you're talking about the extended dies by Sizzix (XL) those fit in the BIGkick and Big Shot. The Cuttlebug can handle them, but you need to make "special arrangements" with the cutting pads.

As far as any of the other non-electric die cutting machines, I can't say as I have no experience with them.

I'm voting that you get a bigshot. I love mine and that way you know it can handle ALL dies!

I know the Wizard takes these dies. They are the same at sizzix dies and the big ones. Ellison dies also fit into the Wizard. They cut wonderful.

I'm disappointed to hear the Zip e Mate won't take them. I have a Cuttlebug though, so I suppose I could make special arrangements with the cutting pads...it's tempting to just get a Big Kick but I am chanting "You do not need another die cutting machine! You do not need another die cutting machine!"

The Wizard machine takes the Bigz Dies, it cuts them out without any problems. The wizard takes all the die cuts out there. I think that's what makes the Wizard stand out above the rest of the machine. I also have the cuttlebug machine (it was a gift), but use my Wizard all the time with all the dies. It's what makes the Wizard Universal.

I asked that exact question at stamp club last night since we used it on a card and I fell in love - she thought it would fit but wasn't positive. I would imagine it would be like using the other larger things that you have to shift over after cranking down, like the cuttlebug embossing folders.

cmscrapper2........The Sizzix BigZ dies DO NOT fit in the antiquated Sizzix machine (the one with the big pull down handle). The dies are too large/wide. I just checked with my old dusty machine.
