Default Off-White Paper Closest to White

Hello. I have sheet music for a song about flowers which I've matted and framed. I want to cover the mat with paper flowers.

Here is the problem:

The frame is off white but very close to being white, and it seems that no matter how close to white the paper is, once I roll the flower (I'm using Cricut Flower Shoppe), the paper ends up looking too yellow or too beige.

So far, I have used Bazzill Vanilla, French Vanilla, and Cream Puff, all of which ended up being too dark.

Anyone know of a paper that is not white but very, very, very close to white?

Thanks!!!

Once you step off the "white" path, you begin to see color...by definition. Just check out the "whites" paint chip folders at the paint store! You see all the colors of the spectrum...just really pale. And the "off-whites" have even more color in them.

Have you tried using white paper? You might find that it is closer than any of the "off-whites". If your white is too bright, try a "cheap" white cardstock like Georgia Pacific from Walmart that has a brightness of 92 instead of 96. That dulls it down some.

And check a good paint store. Who knows, maybe you'll find the color you want in a paint chip!

Then again, maybe having your flowers done in a range of off-whites, supplying just a hint of color to the frame, would also be pretty.

I really like the Whipped Cream Pop Tones cardstock....its just slightly off white. I can send you a piece if you want me too. Just pm your address!
