What do you all think of the new Tim Holtz storage cases? it is shown on www.cropperhopper.com
I like the embossing powder case but not the others to much.
My scrappin' sistah has these and they are fabulous! So is Tim Holtz' stuff too, so I am a little biased. Really, they travel well, look good and keep your 'stuff' in one place well!
So far I have only seen them on CropperHopper website. But I would imagine they will be sold whereever Tim Holtz items are carried. I am going stamp shopping this weekend and will look around for these.
I saw the stamp pad holder at a scrapbooking store and was not impressed. I thought it was flimsy. The lid was already bent. I don't think it would hold up long.
I love Tim Holtz, but was dissapointed by these. They don't carry all of one line of products. For example, the alcohol inks holder only carries about 20 inks. They have 36, I think, in the line. And I have all of them! Now, if it held the entire line, I'd be thrilled as the holders are pretty well thought out.
I was thrilled to see these on the shelf at my LSS but after closer inspection, I think they are too heavy empty and would be really heavy when loaded up.

I only have the alcohol ink storage case but love it as well! I thought there were only 24 colors of the alcohol inks? Anyhoo, the case holds all the inks I have plus all the mixatives and an area to keep the applicator and felt pads and the blending solution. I love having it all together in one handy carrying case!

The case actually holds 28 (got it confused with the dabber case that holds 20). And, according to Ranger's website, I miscounted the alcohol inks - yippee! Now the box will fit what I have! Thanks for making me look! Off to order it from joann.com...
Apparently, Tim Holtz is also coming out with a distress paint too.

Ranger is coming out with Distress Crackle Paint....the colors match the distress inks but the paint also crackles. Then on top that, there are new Stickle colors coming out. I wish they would come out with a Stickles case, too.
The Ranger Crackle Paint is already on the market. It's in the same color groups as the vintage ink pads and EP. I have a few of them and haven't had much time to play with them. i do like that they come with a brush in the handle so I don't need to hunt down anything to apply it with.
The new stickles colors are Baby Blue, Burgandy, Cinnamon, Cotton Candy and Gun Metal. I so can't wait to get my hands on them. I'm a glitter girl though!
I also wanted to agree with previous posters. While I think the TH storage is a neat concept, it just doesn't work for me. The containers are metal, and easy get dinged up in shipping. If it gets banged up that easily packaged in boxes with padding how is it going to hold up if i wanted to transport them anywhere?
Of course, the ones TH had at CHA were GORGEOUS and he had spent the time to alter and decorate them.
Alas, they just don't fit into my art studio decor.... or I probably would be more tempted to get them.
