Hi ladies....I got a Bow-Easy in the mail yesterday and I've been fooling around with it.....I love it. It's a bit tricky but after a few practice tries you get a perfect bow every time. What's nice about it, is that it's a science rather than an art...once you figure it out you never have to think about it again. It's just like tying your shoelaces. Anyway....for those of you who already use it...I tried something a little different. I don't like that wide space you leave on your ribbon when you attach a bow to it....I've always thought it looks kind of tacky. If you watch Gina K's excellent tutorial on the Bow-Easy...what she does is tie a little piece of thread around the ribbon before placing the bow on to get that gathered look. It works well but it can be a bit fiddly, and also it can be hard to glue the bow on to it and get it to stick well. So here's what I did: Before tightening my bow I thread my ribbon (the part that's going to wrap around your card) through the loop (the knot) on the back of the bow...then tighten. When you pull the bow off it's beautifully attached to the part of the ribbon that goes around your card. For me, this entire process has solved every bow tying problem I've ever had....just wanted to share.

Well, I ordered one of those Bow-easy things from Gina K last night. (It is entirely too easy to spend money on the internet! While I was at it, I ordered two new spellbinder label nesties!) Anyway, I will let you know how I like it. I am excited to get one. I want pretty bows on my cards like I see on everyone else's!
I hate to burst your bubble but it is isn't new. I posted that technique on my blog over a year ago. I'm sure others have figured it out too. I just don't have a blog too many people read. Sigh... Good for you to figure it out too though.

Ha......I know whereof you speak!!! Why is it we feel we can't just order one item when we're shopping on-line?
I can't wait to hear from.....this is really an amazing little tool....I used it for bows on my last three cards.....I'm just thrilled with this thing!!!
