Default New SU Archival Ink Pad & Watercoloring (Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens)

Hello all-

I was wondering what everyone's experience is with the new black Archival SU ink pad and watercoloring.

I have used the new black pad and actually love it so far, but have only used it for stamping images and nothing else. I read somewhere on SCS that it didn't do so well (some black bleeding) with watercolors, even though it is supposed to work fine for watercoloring.

I recently invested in the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and was going to do some watercoloring, but wanted to know what the experience of others have been with watercolors and the new pad so far. Did you like it? Did the black bleed? I'm not a fan of Staz On, but will use it if forced. I'd much rather use the new Archival black pad, but not if it bleeds when watercolored.

Thanks for your input!

I used the new SU black to stamp some Crazy Birds last week, I don't recall any issues when I colored them with the aqua brush but I didn't get the paper really wet.

You need to make sure the black ink is dry before starting to watercolor. If you are in a hurry give it a blast with your heat gun. I love it and have had no issues. I'm currently using it with watercolor pencils and the aquapen.
