Wow - I just went and checked these out. Very, very cute!
Do you know if the kids cuttlebug have the suction thingy also? I went with a big shot because of that but if the kids one doesn't have the suction thing I'm sure my DD would love it.

thanks:-D
Just looking at Provo's website, it looks like the Cuttlekids Mini Die Cutter has 4 suction cups (round) on the bottom - one on each corner.
HTH!

I want the cute holder. Of course I also want the Disney dies. I don't see why it won't fit in my big CB. When I told DH this morning that there is a new Kids' bug, he looked like I had lost my mine. All our kids are grown!
according to this report on Craft Critique blog, the cuttlekid dies will work in the regular cuttlebug machine, but the cuttlebug dies will not work in the cuttlekid. http://www.craftcritique.com/2007/07...a-day-one.html
The writer of the article didnt reveal the source of that information.

Since I wrote the article... ehem:mrgreen:
This is what the rep from the Provo Craft both at CHA told me... The kids dies are very shallow and the blade is not as sharp or thick. You can press on them and they won't cut you... making them safe for kids. You can use them in the in the cuttlebug with the thicker plate designed for the thin dies.
The cuttlekid is designed only to work with the cuttlekid dies... it is a lower price point... I think it was $60 retail (???) The dies are more affordable as well. some of the dies were adorable!
I'm really hoping these come out before Christmas. It would be better business for PC if they did, too. But geesh, my lcs doesn't even have the winter embossing folder with the snowman on it yet!
