Exclamation Need fine tip black pen that won't smear...

..with Prismacolors and Gamsol or Tombow markers.
I spent all kinds of time making a card on glossy stock. Decided to put some finishing touch "doodles" on it. Even though I used a heat gun, when I touched the card 15 minutes later, it smeared and ruined the card! I know Sharpies don't smear, but I need an ultra fine point. The pen I used is a Pilot Precise Rolling BallV5 (Extra Fine). I love the pen--but need something like it that won't smear! Does anyone have a suggestion about what kind to get?
Please help--I have to have it done by tonight!

I tried posting this in the Tools and Tech. forum, but it doesn't seem to be getting much traffic right now. I'm desperate.

Oh-and I just ruined a second card. I used Whisper White CS this time. But when I tried to use Gamsol and Prismacolors to color in some elements I had drawn with the pen, it smeared all over the place!

It is not a pretty sight to see a woman with waist-length hair pulling it out.....

Thanks.
Judy

I think Sharpies will work best on glossy cardstock (since it's permanent ink).

What are Slick writers and where do I find them? Would an Office supply place work? I don't have Michael's, AC Moore, HL, or other such places here.

My favorite are Sakura Micron pens. They come in different gauges of "fineness" and don't smear. I love Slick Writers but they aren't always as fine as I like. I use the Sakura ones if a small section of my stamped image doesn't stamp correct, and then I can color right over the ink.

Sharpies come in a fine tip now too. I bought some of them for doing my DDs baby book. I bought mine at AC Moore in the Paint Section.

You can also buy fine tip and ultra fine tip Sharpies at Staples. I believe pkgs of 24 are on sale this week for $10.

Thank you all! I'll be looking for both the Ultra Fine Sharpies and the Sakura Microns. Hopefully I will find one or the other before I go bald...;)

Get a Micron Pigma. They are great. I've been using them for years!

Quick report back--I found some Sharpie Ultra-fines on sale and gave them a try. They work great! It was a quick, easy-to-find solution because they are available so many places. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I'll still keep my eye out for the Microns (can you ever have too many pens?)
