Default Mixing Embossing Powders

Has anyone tried to mix red & green embossing powder? I am wondering if it looks good after heating.

Maybe sprinkle one and then the other and then heat? I'm going to have to try now.

That was my first thought, too. Red and green makes me think-are you looking for something for Christmas?

Ranger makes one in their Antiquities line called Christmas Tree

Sparkle and Sprinkle makes one called Christmas Spirit

You might want to check www.embossingcandystore.com also.

That's all I can think of.

Hope this helps! :-D

ok, curiosity got the best of me. All are stamped with Versamark. I wasn't trying to be neat. My red wasn't a true Christmas red, but the green was a nice deep, tree green.

The first image, was spreading the colors over the image separately.

The second image has more red than green ep. (mixed together before applying)

The third image has more green than red. (mixed together before applying)

I'm not sure how clear the pics are, but the colors did seem to stay separate, not blending to brown. The one with more green than red looked better. It may be figuring out how much of each to get the look you want. I wonder if you added some clear in too, if that would help the colors stand out more.

HTH!

Wow-thanks for the research! Interesting that the colors stayed separate like that.

Green powder mixed with red glitter would be pretty, too.
