Default Mini Misti

I have the regular Misti but was wondering if it's worth it to get the Mini Misti?

I have the mini. While nice and takes little room in my crowded and limited work area, I niw know I should have bought the larger original one. Placement is limited to cards.

I have both and use both. Depends on what I'm doing which I will use. I especially like the small one for doing sentiments or stamping on die cuts.

MSP also has a 15% off sale, today only, for her whole store.

It is/was for me! I tend to work on a smaller scale than many, and I'm all about "compact" for anything/everything to do with this hobby. I had one of the original, handmade-by-Iliana MISTIs, but I gifted it to my daughter. I bought a new regular-sized one for myself, and bought a mini at the same time. Haven't touched the regular one yet but I've used the mini nearly every day...

One consideration might be whether you stamp off the edge of cards, and if so, how far. Someone here - I wish I remember who! - mentioned that, which was key for me. Sometimes I think I have more stamp off than on. : )

Bjeans has a good point, I so use both the original and mini. If it's your first MISTI, I would suggest choosing the original MISTI size to start. I love the mini for everyday and on the go, but sometimes the original is needed for larger projects.

I have the larger Misti and use it a lot! I really couldn't justify spending the extra money (especially in Canadian dollars) for a tool that I already have. I think I could find a better use of my crafting budget.

I purchased the Memory MISTI and quickly found it cumbersome for A2 cards, so I purchased the mini one on Monday, during the sale. I'm happy I have the Memory for larger projects, but I can use the mini one more quickly and easily and keep it on my desk.

I am struggling with deciding on what one to buy: the mini MST or the Original Size. Any advice or tips you can share to help me decide?

Thanks in advance
Carrie

If you don't have the Memory MISTI, I'd get the original size. The mini MISTI doesn't fit much more than A2 cards. The original is still small enough, but gives you a little more space than the mini. The stamp area for the original is Stamp area: 6.5 x 8.5, whereas the stamp area for the mini is 6 x 4.75.

I have had my 'Original' for almost 2 yrs and use it for almost all my stamping. Bought the 'Mini' because of the anniversary sale. It is handy for travel but I know I will still give the 'Original' a workout. I think the 'Original' would be preferable if this is your first MISTI unless space is a real issue.

Don't want to high jack this thread but has anyone found a padded carrier that isn't too big and will accommodate the mini. It is an odd size: 7"x 6 1/4" X 1/2". It's too wide to fit a 7"-8" tablet carrier.
