I'm so late finding out about the Minc. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to use this if you don't have a laser printer? I don't understand why they would make something that you would need a specific printer for, since most people have ink jet printers. HSN is having a Special Value at midnight with Anna Griffin showing her Minc.
I would love a minc or laminator myself...but can't see getting one when I don't have a laser printer, if there isn't another way to be able to use it. *sigh* Do Wish it would work with ink jet! LOL Finding room for another printer is next to impossible...let along finding the money for one. If I had more space, I might be able to talk myself into getting one sometime If I could afford it...but I don't have room for another printer, so...not sure how I could ever get a minc, even though I love the foiled look.
I don't have that machine but I know some people use laser ink pens and that machine, bypassing the need for a laser printer. Here's a video on that, but if you look in the right side bar on the YouTube page there'll be others. Also including a Tim Holtz video on how to get the foiling look with sticky embossing powder and foil sheets. I'm definitely going to try this one!
IF...and thats a BIG IF...I could find room for a printer, I need a printer that will also copy so if anyone has one that will print on heavy paper, and will either print from the computer, or copy/scan from a page, let me know where I can find it Please!!

Yes, definitely one that'll handle good cardstock!
