Default Memory Box Stencils

Has anyone used these before? I recently purchased them to try out, but can't really figure it out - stencil challenged I suppose!

I purchased the Brilliant peony and the Garden bloom and the Butterfly vine and Butterfly drifting ones, thinking they somehow need to be used together. I'd be interesting in seeing some instruction, if anyone has a link or tutorial.

Thanks.

Jennifer McGuire has lots of great ideas for how to use stencils. Google "Jennifer McGuire" "1 Stencil 3 Ways." She shows the following techniques: stamping through a stencil, inking and using embossing paste.

I purchased the Butterfly Vine and Butterfly Drifting stencils. What I did was layer the vine inside of the drifting one and inked butterflies (I used a sponge dauber). That way all of the detail was on the butterflies. I then removed the drifting stencil and sponged a background around the vine and butterflies. I thought it turned out nice and want to try some more in different color variations.

That sounds wonderful. I will give it a try.
