Default Memory Box dies...Best paper to use ?

Hi,

I was hoping to get some advice. My collection of Memory Box, Cheery Lynn and Die-Namics dies are slowly growing. I also have the metal adapter plate for cutting such intricate pieces and it helps. I've watched several utube videos and picked up a few tips there as well.

My question is : does anyone have a favorite paper to use for these dies ?

Last evening I tried Stampin Up - Whisper White but wasn't happy with the results.

Thanks !

I've gotten good results with Recollections from Michaels. I only needed the metal plate for 2 or 3 of the more intricate dies. The rest came out great on the first try.

I do not have a favorite paper, just use what is the right color, texture... What is important is to add a layer of wax paper between the die and the paper you have choose. The die will work much better and all the little bits come out easily.

Thanks for the wax paper reminder. I have a couple of dies that just do not cut completely - one is a CB lattice border.

Thank you fo that tip to use wax paper.

I tried it with a new die that I received last week and it worked like a dream! Those paper bits popped right out!

I like to use the 3M Post It Craft Paper for the intricate ones because it is already sticky. Makes adhering the designs so much easier for me. Just cut peel and stick! I got a bunch of it at a scrapbook expo and then hoarded it like no tomorrow. Found it again recently and realized it is not just good for Cricut but also for die cutting.

Since most of my card stock is Stampin' Up!, that's what I use. I was wondering what machine you're using to die cut? I use Whisper White with Memory Box and Poppystamps dies all the time and get great results.
