Love your Copics, don't have them all, but feel like you're done buying?
If so, how many do you have? In other words if you have all you feel you could ever need or want, how many is it? I think I heard someone say they were done at about 195...
So how many is done for you, I am guessing a lot of people are going to say they're never done.

I have two full sets of 36. Set A and set B. For me I think I would be completely done when I decide wether or not I want to buy set C or Set D. But for now I am satisfied with the two sets that I own.
I wasn't done until I had them all. So now that I have them all I guess that I am done. Although I did hear that they are suppose to be coming out with 12 sometime soon, so I will have to get those as well. What can I say I have OCD with crafting supplies, put I am fine with that.
I stopped buying a while ago, just to see if I felt any "void" in colors I was missing. So far it seems to be holding OK, and I do have a lot. I think I need to focus on saving money in general and then getting refills for the ones I use more.

I'm right there with ya! With the prices changing earlier this month made me splurge. It's probably going to be awhile before we get the new colors here in the US.
I always think I need more. But I haven't bought any for a long time - primarily because I was too busy with life and not coloring as much as I would have liked. Now that I am crafting more again, I am starting to think about getting more. I probably have 150 or so. I think the colors I have are a fairly good representation. What I am contemplating more is starting to get the regular style so that I have the fine point tips (although I'm sure just getting the nibs would be the smarter move).
I haven't counted exactly but I only have about 50 and there are only about 8 more that I really really want. I'm sure it would be NICE to have all the colors, but I am more on the practical side--as long as I have a decent range with blending colors I'm okay. I know, BORING!

I have 105 Copic markers and about 10-12 more on my wishlist - but I feel like I'm done for a while and have plenty of colors for my needs. For now anyway! :-)
I have 44 and have not felt a need for more! I did go back to using SU Watercolor Wonder Crayons since they are my FAVE thing to color with, though! So if I started using them a LOT again, I might want more. So far I haven't needed any extras....
I bought the A and B Ciao sets quite some time ago. After awhile, I got the C set. And just last week, I finally got the D set. I'm so glad I did ~ there are some really beautiful colors there!!
Now, I really don't feel a need for any more... I hope that lasts a long time ;) !!
85 here and I do feel pretty good, as defined by the fact that I have a 40% off Dick Blick coupon, and it's 2 blocks from where I work, and I am not sure what marker I might want to get with it, if any.
I have about 50...and I think I have all I need for now. But who knows you never know when you will need a few more colors down the road. I can get ciao markers for $2.85 and sketch for about $4.20, so even with the price increase it is not too bad.
Right now I have about 50 of them and I can honestly say that's a pretty complete set for me. Even with those there are about 10 really dark shades I got that I never use so in hindsight I'd be more picky about choosing the "lighter" shades.
There are a few more I'd like to get which will bring my total to about 60. Any more than that and I'd be forever trying to pick my colours LOL!
I don't have any, and have no plans to buy any. I don't know much about them and am happily covering my eyes and ears when everyone raves about them so I don't get sucked in. LOL! (Not bashing you that love them, just protecting my wallet like a mother bear!)
Thanks for your imput. After I get my next order in the house, I'll have 107...I am hoping that will be good for a while and will be more judicious about which ones I order. I really need to concentrate on getting stamps that are good for Copics.

I wasn't sure how many I had, so just counted. Have 178. I'm not done buying, but with the price increase I've slowed down considerably. Now just going to fill in some of the spaces - I've neglected the Vs and BVs. I seem to have a considerable # of pinks, but you know what? All of them are so different!
I am happy with my collection at around 180, though I do need an N0...and since it's the ONLY one I need I will wait till I need a bunch of stuff from one place that sells it, or when Oozak is in stock, so I don't have to pay $5 for shipping!
As I color I jot down the markers I wish I had...like an in-between color or darker color...and I ordered all that were on my list about 2 weeks ago...since then, the only one I have noticed I would use is that N0. I know I will never need all the grays or any of the Flourescents, so that cuts off about 25 of the 322 colors available, and I hate purple with a passion, so I only have a few lavenders.
So yep...happy without them all!!

I think I have about 30. If I never got another Copic, I would be just fine. I will probably buy a few more shades of the colors I use most, just to have more options. But I don't feel compelled to collect them all. Easy to please, I guess. Also, I am not committed to one type of coloring. Sometimes I water color, sometimes I use colored pencils, and sometimes I just stamp solid images. I think if I was 100% Copic color I might want more colors. I frequently use colored pencils with my Copics, so that helps.
I have about 50. The only local source is Hobby Lobby and they carry a very limited range. I probably have everything they sell. I was obsessed until I got all that was available and I've since calmed down a bit. I'd love more pinks and other lighter colors. I really don't have the hang of the darker colors, but I know practice is the key. Love the grays.
HL doesn't carry the refills, so when that day comes, I'll really be looking for more sources.
I've got a ton (all the Ciaos and am building up my collection of Sketches), but I still want more. I know I won't get them all because I don't care for the flourescents and all the different grays, but other than that, I want all the rest!
I have 297 sketch markers, almost all of them. I'm just missing a few of the grays and all of the flourescents. I will probably eventually get the few grays that I don't have but I'm good for now.
I have about 275, give or take. I don't think I'll ever have all 322 since I don't really care for the fluourescent colors at all. And some of the uber dark grays (like the 10s) are just too dark IMHO.
I think there are about 35 more I want and then I'll be done until the new colors come out. I hear they are lights, so I'll definitely be wanting those.
I just can't imagine having 100 or more of these! I've just started buying some and sold my SU's and Marvys so as not to overlap so to speak. I think I need more than I have as no lilacs, orange, greys etc but I'm a hobby cardmaker-I'm not dedicating my life to this and the idea of using 50 pens or whatever for one card puts me off them altogether! that's so much work!
I also constantly wrestle with the ethics of greed. There are so many people and animals in need, with no food, clean water, medicine, education and actually writing this, it occurs to me that many forum members live in a place (US) where this suffering happens to your people too. I just can't justify the idea of being excessive with this hobby. I have lots of stuff-I feel bad about this and have learnt to see what I want to concentrate on. I just don't have 300 SU sets, or 500 Copics and if I did, for ONE person making cards for fun, it seems very wrong to me.
Not making a sweeping statement to anyone here, I just have very strong principles and try to balance the acceptance that I am lucky enough to live in a wealthy country (though we're nigh on bust at the moment!), with the knowledge that not everyone is so lucky. most people in the world are very, very poor and I don't forget this. It's like 1 Copic for me, so many 's to charity. The best I can do right now.
I jumped on the band wagon right before the price increase went into effect. I have around 125 markers and don't see any more on the color chart that I think I need/want, but there are some colors that I think that Copic needs that I want. I don't how that is possibe with over 300 colors available. I just don't want to buy two markers in sequencal order, I want to be able to have a variance of color without having so many close enoughs. KWIM?
I still don't get what I am supposed to do with so many gray colored markers either, unless it is just to color shades of gray to black?
how do you store yours? Pictures would be really helpful. Right now mine are just thrown into a drawer and I hate searching thru to find them. I'm also stuck on thinking they need to be stored horizontally. What do you gals think? Thanks, jaime
I have about 75 or so...right now I store mine in the clear plastic (holds 36) copic cases. You can order them, but HL sells them as well. I am looking for an alternate storage solution as I have run out of room w/mine!

I don't have pictures, they are somewhere on the main Copic Thread but, it seems like some of the most popular ways to store them that are readily available (or at least my favorites) are:
1. Tin bucket from A Muse. (tan, green, pink or aqua about $20)
2. Magpie Nesting Storage system (hangs on wall with 9 dividers and a drawer in black or white, about $24)
3. Rubbermaid cubes (with 4 dividers and stackable, about $11)
wanted to add, my personal first choice was the Magpie storage, I love it and the drawer would be great to store extra blenders, refills, etc, but I didn't have any wall space to put it that it would look good, my 2nd choice was the Amuse bucket, in green to match my room and I was going to put it in a drawer so that I could pull it out when I needed to use them, but I only have 1 deep drawer and it was too full of other things, and I really wanted more than just 4 sections for the markers. Finally I wnet with my last choice the Rubbermaid xcube because they are only 6 x 6 and I could stack them vertically so they took up the least amount of room and I can gaze at my markers whenever I am in my room. I got 3 cubes so that I would have 12 dividers, one for each color group. I set my blender pen, transparency to blend and my memento ink on the top and my chart next to it so that everything is all together.
I've got about 100 -- would still like some more but a need to find a place that has the one reinker I need in and good prices. I probably won't be done until I have at least all the Ciaos.
