Question JustRite Stampers

I am thinking about getting these from JustRite Stampers:

Harmony Classic Oval I Stamp Ensemble 1-3/8" x 2-1/8"
Birthday Stamp Ensemble

Does anyone have them and do they match up with the classic oval nestabilities set (not petite)?

For the price, I may get them anyways and buy some more nesties later on if they fit in the petite.

Thanks in advance!

I contacted JustRite Stampers myself, here is their response:

Hi Diane- the oval sets that are on clearance are not compatible with Spellbinders Nestabilities. We will be introducing a new oval in July that is compatible. All our other sizes of stamps in both oval and round are compatible.

If I can answer any additional questions please feel free to email me directly.

Hmmmm ... do I still want them? I'll have to decide!

Wink

BUT ... Here is something else I found on their blog in reference to the clearance oval sets:

Why are we retiring the Oval I wooden stamper and coordinating stamps? Because soon we will be introducing a new small oval stamper which will be compatiable with your Spellbinders Oval Nestabilites and it will have a border that will accept 6pt and 15 pt font. Look for the new size oval and new stamp images in July.

Will my existing oval center fit in the new oval? Yes - it will fit in the center grid system, but since the new oval has a different oval shape and a new rim configuration your borders will not be interchangeable.

So I did end up ordering both oval sets for two reasons. One, because I will be able to use the centers in the new oval that comes out in July for more sentiment options. And two, I bet that they can be used with the oval nesties but the alignment may not be perfect but close enough. I'll let you know when my order comes in.

In case you are wondering, I also got the 2" circle with bonus center and 15 pt font, Celebration Demi Phrases, Times Roman Uppercase Font Set and the Vertical Stampers.

Wink Self Inking Stampers

Have you tried the self inking stampers? I splurged and bought both of these from Taylored Expressions:

Chique Oval Stamper
Sonnet Stamper

Both of these are on sale for $29.75 and come with a full font set! What a deal! They arrived on Saturday so I was able to ink them up and play a little bit! Love them!!!!

Has anyone had any problem with the rubber coming off the wooden stamp? Mine has come off and now I can't seem to line up the rubber proper to get a straight stamped image.

Also my oval stamp (the smaller one) is not stamping straight either....I have tried turning them a tad either way and it will work if I continue to play with it but I shouldn't have to do that....

Kellie if you are there.....please help.

Thanks,

Joanne
