Oh my! I went to Anchor Paper today and got envelopes - just like Very Vanilla and Whisper White - $6 for 100 envelopes. Wow! I thought that was such a deal.
And their cardstock is priced 75 sheets for $6. It comes in all the natural colors and confetti variations. I went a little crazy!
Their stamps aren't that great. But it's a good place for scrapbookers.
Which Anchor paper did you go to? I really like the one in Burnsville. I think their selection of stamps is really good but they are a bit pricey. I don't tend to buy paper from anywhere but SU tho. I used to live by that store so I'd visit a lot, now that we've moved across the cities I think I've only been there once or twice. Some of their other stuff seemed to be decently priced when compared to Archivers.

I always thought that the Anchor Paper Plymouth had a really good selection of stamps...maybe that has changed.
Did they change the pricing too? The last time I was there (mid-June), they were still pricing by the pound, not by the sheet or envelope. I did notice their prices went up ($6/lb. for paper, $12/lb. for envelopes).
You are correct. It is priced by the pound. I got 26 sheets of paper for 4.08 - like the naturals and confettis - and I got 40 cream envelopes for 5.16. I thought that was a good price. I didn't know they raised their prices, but I still thought I got a good deal - on the envelopes at least.
There are lots of stamps but maybe I'm just partial to SU stamp sets. And also, I was a bit overwhelmed because I'd never been there. I sure will go back again.
I have never been there....where is the one that is closest to the north? I would like to make a run down there from up north....but with the bridge out, would like not to have to go down south of minneapolis......can't wait.

You're right - that is a good deal!! I always buy my envelopes there, especially when I know I have a lot of cards to mail (like Christmas cards).

Thanks.....
Check this URL for their locations, they have a Mpls and Plymouth store.

Thank you so much.....I will have to go there the next time I go to the cities....even though I was just there in Maple Grove....Love that shopping area. Thanks again.
I had a chance to visit all three stores in April, WOW!! A girl could go crazy there! I thought each store had their own "character" in products, you might want to make a day trip of it and check out all three!
fyi - The MPS store is moving soon, if that is the one you plan to go to, you might want to give a call first for the address, I don't think its terribly far from the existing MPLS store.
