Heart I can't believe I waited this long.......

to buy my first Copics!!! I just got my first ones in the mail from a fellow SCS member(thank you makkrk). I have been playing with them for all of 10min and decided I better print the color chart and SU matchup chart This is not good for the wallet but I LOVE the colors and how they feel! I will have to play with shading when I get a few more colors but till then they are still soooooo much fun! Now how can I get more and not break the piggy bank?!

Welcome to the addiction..and I DO mean that! These little gems are incredibly HARD to resist!

I have saved a little bit by ordering a combination of Sketch and Ciaos. I wish I could have ordered all Sketch, but given how much they cost, having a combination of both has worked nicely for me. I did break down and get the newest 12 Sketch which was a special treat!!! Most of my Copics were ordered from Oozak where with a $50 order I received free shipping, which saved a little, I guess.

Anyway, now that I have my pretty pail (that they are in) totally filled, I've told myself I am DONE...well...we'll see....

I get my copics from Carpe Diem for 4.75 each. They ship fast, never had any problems with this company. I think you have to register with them to get this price. Maybe some SCS knows about this. Free shipping with $50.00 spent on sketch markers. If order is mixed, some sketch and some other product, then you need to spend $100.00 to get free shipping. Bobbi.

Copics are going to be my reward for getting to my goal weight. Since I haven't managed to lose even one pound yet, it could be a while

I have a hate-hate relationship with markers ... until I met my first batch of Copics. Then it was LOVE at first sight! Costly, but for me nothing works like a Copic.

I know what you mean, scrpnut. I waited a couple of years before I finally broke down and bought mine, and they have been a total joy to use. I've never regretted the decision to invest in them.

It sounds like you are off to a great start. Maybe you'll appreciate them more because you waited this long.

I love them! I have about 250 of them now. I bought my first ones on e-bay, before they sold them in Canada. I got a set of 72 Ciao markers. Then after playing with those for a few months I went crazy. Ordered an air compressor and a whole bunch of sketch markers from Oozak. He has amazing prices and really good customer service. Even all the way across the border into Canada! Love Copics and Love Oozak!

Enjoy them and post your creations you make with them! Have fun.

Have fun! I, too, waited forever to take the plunge. I was so anti-marker. Thought they would never work for me. It wasn't until I helped mod a class over the summer with Clear & Simple Stamps in my area on coloring w/Copics that I realized- Hey, I can do this! And I took the plunge.
