Default How do you store your coluzzle templates?

I have just bought a bunch of coluzzle templates but don't really know how I should store them. I've seen the coluzzle bag, but it's kind of expensive. If you have the coluzzle bag is it a must have? If you don't use the bag, how do you store your templates?

Thanks!

I bought one of those off brand rectangle cake takers like Rubbermaid makes. It is just the right size for all my Coluzzle temples plus the accessories I have for it like my cuter and blades and mat. I love it when I need it everything is in one place.

I originally put them in a binder in sheet protectors (the kind with the holes on the outside of the sheet protector). However, I finally splurged on the Coluzzle carry bag and zip lock storage sleeves when the Creative xpressions web site had them for about 1/2 off recently.

I keep mine in the 12x12 craft keepers too ... the ones with the string and two circle-things? I usually buy them when they are on sale for less than $1.00. And then I just have it on the shelf with the 12x12 papers. I keep all the templates and that foam mat in there. I keep the blade in a special accessory bag.

Now I know that I'm storing mine like others ... can anyone tell me how to cut without getting that little "off" measured piece when I come back around. You know, they have the part that's uncut and you just snip, but mine are never really lined up, so my cuts are not straight.

Just thought I'd ask.

For my circles and ovals - the 2 I use the most I store in my cutting tool drawer. Others I store in page protectors in a 3 ring binder. Much cheaper than the COluzzle binder.

I keep all mine (along w/ teh cutting mat) in a drawer beside my desk - I *used* to keep them in the Craft Keeper that you get when you buy the Coluzzle Starter Kit from SU! - but after a while it got to be a pain to get into it.

I keep mine in a drawer. I have the coluzzle binder, but it seemed to be more a pain than not for me to drag around. I love having it handy.
I just go thte purse template today, and can't wait to use it!

Tish
Tish, before you start cutting push your finger firmly down in the middle of the shape. Try to keep your finger there as long as you can while cutting. When you get to the point where your finger is in the way of your cutting, stop cutting, switch your finger around to allow room for the blade, push down again (without moving the template any on the paper) and resume cutting. It will be perfect. Or at least nearly perfect.

I keep mine (all the templates, the cutting mat, and the coluzzle tool) in a plastic ziplock bag that my 12x12 paper came in from CTMH.

I went to the office supply store (we have office max and office depot) and got this clear plastic holder (it velcros closed ). It is meant to hold papers, reports, etc..It is the perfect size ( it holds and 81/2 x11 piece of paper). However, I only have a few templates for my Coluzzle.

I keep mine in a magazine organiser box that I store on its long side in my craft armoire. That way I can reach right in and slide my template out.

(I just got a bunch more templates from Creative Xpress today, and my storage solution still works. )

I tried the Coluzzle binder and it wasn't easy/ convenient enough for me (i'm too lazy to use it right). I have a lot of templates, so I store them in file folders in a file cabinet. My 8.5x11 paper is in the bottom drawer and the Coluzzle templates are in the top. (Mind you, I don't fill up the whole drawer...) The cabinet is near my chair so I can get to it easily.

I just bought the Coluzzle Carry All bag at Michael's today for $7.20. I actually went to Michael's fully intending to use my 40% off coupon for this bag and was shocked to see it on clearance for $12. The salesperson said I could use the 40% off coupon on this! (I didn't even ask, I thought I'd just use the coupon on something else.) WOW!

Prior to this, I was storing the templates in sheet protectors in a binder. (The carry all bag is basically a glorified zip around binder with handles.)
