I like the samples I've seen in the gallery of the altered mailboxes from Target. It got me thinking about my best friend, who is moving into her first home in about a week. I'd love to combine the two ideas: mailbox and housewarming (can't you see the connection?). Can you creative stampers help me with some ideas for what to include in the box? (Other than "we've moved" cards...she forgot to use them last time... )

how about maybe a gift card to home depot or lowes, you never know if they want to paint a room or something.
how about a gift card to a local pizza place. when they unpack and are just too tired to cook dinner, they can use their gift cert. for pizza and thanking you the entire time...
maybe a box of bandaids, bar of soap (so it will at their disposal rather than packed away in a box)
an invite to something fun. a day of stampin?
maybe a local phonebook. or a list of places that everyone needs.food places, post office, banks, schools, movies, etc
a play date at your house w/ kids you know that are around the same ages as hers?
Postage stamps, gift cards, travel size hand lotion, lip balm, small kleenexes (right now they have Valentine ones out!), hand sanitizer, purse size tylenol/advil, breath mints, candy and gum all came to mind right away! Good luck! It sounds like a terrific idea!

How about some address labels? You can make them yourself. Buy blank ones at an office supply store and put her new address on them with the computer and either stamp them with a design or use computer clip art. I made ones for myself with different holiday themes. These could go with the suggestion from candyf.

I love the address label idea, along with the 'we've moved' cards. Also love the food gift cards...they are NOT going to feel like cooking while they're setting up. Even a WAWA card.. for hoagies, coffee, whatever.
