Default Heat Gun/Tool Stand

I'm looking for one of those wooden structures that holds the heat gun so you can use it hands free to emboss your item. Does anyone know where to find out? Thanks, June

June....I've never heard of such a tool, but I would think it would be difficult to use. You need to keep the heat gun moving onto the next section so as not to burn your powder or project. In a holder I would find that difficult. I have more control with the heat gun in my hand. Just my opinion.

If you're really interested, just do an internet search to find the product.

If you have someone handy with woodworking, they should be able to build you one. My husband built me one and it works great. Nothing fancy, but very serviceable.

USArt Quest has a metal one

I use a metal stand used by doll collectors...works fine, and the price was great.

I've been told...cannot confirm...that the heat that reflects back into the gun, while leaving it in the holder, will cause it to burn out. Could be an urban legend.
