I've been searching the internet trying to find 3 inch hat pins. I'm looking for something like the hat pins that were in the "Pretties Kit" Stampin' Up had a few years ago. Those pins were about 3 inches long with an eye loop in one end and a sharp point on the other. The kit also came with clutches to put on the sharp end. I sure hope someone here on SCS can lead me to a supplier.

Have you lookedon ebay. I found some on there, much cheaper than the shops and ends. You can use the backs for pierced earrings and get them cheap on ebay as well.

Try searching for 3" corsage pins. i found a lot of options.

Recently I was looking for long straight pins. I found some long pins with loops on the end but they were more like jewellery findings and were bendable. I wanted the non bendy straight pins. When I did find exactly what I wanted I could only get them in small quantities (10-12).

I only wanted the pins, so I was happy when I found pins just like these at a local store.

These pins are about 4" long. I just crush the end off and glue my own beads on to decorate. They do not have a head or end loop but E6000 glue holds the beads on tight.

I only wanted to decorate straight pins for a pin cushion so I didn't need the clasps. I have also seen the little end clasps sold separately on places like etsy.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I did see something on ebay and purchased a small quantity to see if I liked it IRL. I'll let you know.

not what u want but have to share walmart has three inch corsage pins with pearl on the end. so fun to work with and really inexpensive if any body want to create with them?????????
