Default Glitter in bins?

I wonder how many of you use card sized food storage containers to keep clear glitter in. I love them for some of my embossing powder, and I imagine they would be much handier than little jars for glitter. While I certainly can't spare the space for all my glitter colors, a couple bins would be nice. Anyway, I guess my question is: Does the bin work well with glitter and reduce the splatter as well as it does for embossing powder?

I do but only clear glitter-I bought a big thing of it a long time ago and put it in a tupperware container. However, the big thing of glitter isn't as sparkly as the small ones I have now so I don't use it all the time. For me, the tupperware container works as well for glitter as it does for EP.

I've seen people do this and when you need to glitter something, just use a plastic spoon that you can also store in the glitter container. Probably much easier than pouring the overage back into the bottle.
