Default genius ultimate platform

Has anyone used the new Genius Ultimate platform for die cutting machines. I would like a review.

I have one and i'm not overly fond of it. The magnetic platform isn't that strong at all and i also don't like the fact that its not see thru like the regular cutting pads. I only used mine for a couple of days, and not being able to "see" what i'm cutting, drove me nuts. I switched back to the regular platform and cutting pads.

Thanks for your opinion! I've been doing some research and have heard more negative than positve. At the price they want I think I will just stick to my Big Kick and regular platform and cutting mats.

Your very welcome. Yes, for the price of this, i was expecting something way more magnetic than what it was. In my opinion, it wasn't worth that price at all. I still was using masking tape to hold down the die anyways.

If I were you I would ask for a refund and send it back. I use a cheap magnetic sheet to keep my dies in place.
