Genesis Trimmer Tip

My trimmer's blade housing was suddenly not moving along the metal cylinder arm as well as it always has. I grabbed a piece of waxed paper, ran it over the cylinder a few times, and voila - smooth gliding action has returned!

That wax paper is a handy thing. I had problems with paper sliding out of my mini scrapbook and then I got the idea to rub the edges with wax paper.

Thanks for tip about using waxed paper on your Genesis. I haven't had that problem occur, but I am tucking this tip in my memory-bank, just in case!

Knowing that replacement parts are unavailable (except for the after-market 3-D printer manufacturing of the nylon bushing), makes maintenance a top priority with my Genesis. Every tip to keep it in top working order is appreciated!:cool:
