Default Exact placement of Spellbinders dies

Hi all!

I have used this tip for a while, but realized it may not have occurred to you, so I wanted to share. I've made an instructional video (my very first one!) and put it on my blog. I'd love you to pop on over and take a look. Let me know what you think!

Hugs,
Karen

Great video, Karen. And a great tip, too. I've used tape to secure my Nestie where I wanted it, but never thought to make a cut-out to place it in. Thanks for sharing this.

I have a little "handmade by" stamp that I use for the back of my cards, and I also use it with the smallest oval sometimes to make little hanging tags for items. It just barely fits inside the Nestie with no room to spare. I will use this tip in the future.

Default Thank You!

That was a great video tutorial. Are you sure it was your first? I have not been able to get my die where I want it to save my life. Sometimes it moves just a smidge, but sometimes a smidge makes all the difference in the overall look. Thanks to you, I do believe my cards will look much nicer now.

That was excellent!! I learned so much about what I am doing wrong---nice to see it in a video makes so much more sense than just reading the directions. A beautiful card--can't wait to try this--need to go buy some painters tape to give it a try.

The guys at Once Upon a Stamp do a sort of magnetic sheet that you can put through your cuttlebug etc which holds the dies exactly where you want them.

I loved your video. I'm still trying to figure out to best use my first set of nesties in my cuttlebug. I haven't quite figured this all out yet. I did my first embossing today. Didn't seem deep enough. Hopefully I can remedy all this!

Oh eek---don't buy the new green painters tape to do this--it tears the paper. I found some in the garage and thought I would give it a try--nope, just doesn't release and rips. I'll have to buy some blue tape while out this week.
