Enabler Alert! Joann's has Spellbinders!!
Not sure if this has been posted or not, but I was in my local Joann's last night and was very excited to see that they are now carrying a limited amount of Spellbinder supplies. They had some nesties, impressabilities and some other shapes. I also used my Michaels 50% coupon to buy the new label 9 dies. I only paid $12.50!! So excited, just thought I would share I live in Fredericksburg, VA.
This is so good to know! I have limited access to places that carry nesties where I live. I have a Joann's close by though. It's a smaller one, but I hope they'll start carrying them there.
That's awesome! Can't wait to check it out. I have envied the folks that have Hobby Lobbies near them in the midwest as they have Copics and Spellbinders and can use coupons on those items. No such luck on the east coast although we do have A C MOore but they don't sell them either.
I can't wait - ever since I heard they had them online I've been hoping to see them in the store but no luck yet. Our Hobby Lobby's have them but it's nice to have other options since HL won't take the other store's coupons.
So far our's does not have them. I found them in Pat Cattans in Murrysville, Pa. but I already had the ones they had. I'll have to check Jo-annes from time to time. Thanks for the info! :-D
Thanks for the heads up! I live about 30 miles from Charlottesville which is the closest Joann's for me. Will have to check it out.

FYI _ just went to Joanns.com and they have them on the website. On sale so you wouldnt be able to use coupon but alot of them are there.
I love my Nesties!!
I was in Joanns yesterday trying to find something to spend my gift card on when I spied the spellbinders on a cart that was filled with brand new items. The sales lady was trying to put them away, but grabbed a couple before they were even on the shelf! There wasn't a huge selection, but they did have some that I didn't have. I bought an Impressagilities, but I'm not sure how to use it. I will have to do some googling to find out.
Yes you can. There are a few SCSers that had their Joanns deny it but most will accept it.
Some Michaels will also accept Joann coupons.
Personally I hate our Joanns and I banned myself over a year to never shop there again. The customer service is so bad and they never restock their shelves.
Personally I will rather buy the nesties from my LSS and give the regular amount to them.
But this is great news though!

Kathy, yes you can you use your Michaels coupon and vice versa. I actually used a 50% off coupon from Mikes AND a 40% off coupon from Joann's in the same trip. Our Michaels also accepts coupons from Joann's and AC Moore.
Soooo excited now!!! I've been wanting to try the nesties for some time now, but money and store distance have been an issue. But..Not..Now!! Yippie! Thanks for the heads up, I'll be taking my coupons and wallet on my next trip, hopefully my j's has em' in.

Any other in-store sightings yet? Especially in New England? When I checked the Milford, MA, store last week I didn't see them. Will they be with the other die-cutting supplies (Cuttlebug, Sizzix, etc)?
they weren't with the other die-cutting supplies like i thought they'd be. my j's had them on an end cap but it wasn't an end aisle display. i just happened to see them from the main aisle as i walked by. they may have sold out. i went back earlier this week and alot was sold out. i knew i should have picked up labels 1 when i first saw them. also they didn't have any of the acessories at mine (no tan mats) only the dies, borders and inpressibilities.
My sweet friend gets things wholesale and has already put an order in with her rep for the new spellbinder releases...I cant wait to get the three new labels releases...I love new stuff...blessings. I will look at Joannes the next time I go there and see what they have.
I ordered and received my first set of Spellbinders dies only to be soooo bummed out when I realized my cuttlebug didnt come with a C plate; and I also need that tan rubber mat thingy to use them !! I am heading to Joanns today to see if I can buy both there and come home and start crafting!! I will be soooo dispointed if my joanns doesnt carry both !! It is a small store so not sure what kind of luck I will have..but if not; will order both..just didnt want to wait !!
Hi Dawn. I'm in Woodstock Va. didn't see the Spellbinders at Joanns in Winchester last week. They were refilling a lot of empty shelves. I love the labels nine and the labels eight is hard to find but really nice.
The impressibilities are tricky but really beautiful. You can use several things for the tan mat. I cut up a liner for a baking sheet ( silicone ) and it is the same thickness, also some people use plumbers gaskets, there are a lot of posts on that. You may also have to shim with some cardstock. I use a file folder cut up.
I finally found them only at the Joann's Superstore near us (two other regular Joann's stores did not have them). I also found the selection rather sparse. They had 3 different impressabilities, 10-12 sets of Nesties (I remember scalloped oval, scalloped circle- large, scalloped & classic rectangles- not sure whether sm or lg, labels 1). There were also a handful of the borders and die sets, but I didn't pay close attention to them. Hopefully they will expand the in-store selection!
Thanks for the "sighting" information!
i stopped back in to the new j's monday and the mats were in. since i had plenty of coupons i couldn't resist and ended up with the mats and the fluer de lis pendant set. within an hour of getting them home and open i had a card done with another finished before the day was over. would've played more but i've got a ton of projects to finish before next weekend.
The JoAnn's in Va Beach area are terrible. They don't have much of a selection at all! When I went to Jacksonville Fla to visit my sisters they had a huge, wonderful Joann's. I am going there in March so I will have to check them out. In the mean time I need to write to the company to build us a better store! Only one LSS has Spellbinders and they only carry a few sets.

ditto for the one in Winchester. The one in Manassas unless they have improved a lot is even worse. The one in Haymarket is a super Joann's but I haven't been there yet.
