Can anyone tell me where I can buy dominoes (sp) that I can stamp on. I have see some on this wonderful site but not sure where to get them. I would greatly appreciate any info. Thanks, Sarah
I found some at our local Dollar General store . . . and they are in a TIN with Dora on them . . . well Dora is easily covered up . . . snort ! I think it was only $2.
I've found them in a tin in the toy section of a store called Tuesday Morning and at Big Lots, fairly cheap, too. I used the alcohol inks on mine for a background and then stamped on top with Staz On. Have fun!
Jut bought a pkg this am at J's - Darice brand in the jewelry making section - 10 dominoes & they are pre-drilled! I was concerned about breaking them when drilling, now it's already done for me, on the sides and ends so you could orient them either way.

I get mine at Big Lots too, great price. But one thing I haven't seen said on this thread is that you might find it helpful to soak your new shiny dominoes in undiluted bleach for a few hours before you attempt to stamp on them. Rinse them well and stamp til your heart's content. If you want the shiny finish back on them after you're done, find yourself some Triple Thick Acrylic finish to spray on them. I get my Triple Thick at Hobby Lobby.
What's the purpose of soaking them in the bleach? Just to get the sheen off of them?

While, I don't soak my dominos in bleach before stamping, I;ve read that the bleach helps to give it more "tooth" so that the ink doesn't smear as easily.
Yes, it takes off the glossy coating so the ink sticks better. BTW, don't ever heat set your dominoes in the oven like you do with tiles. They explode! Yes, I learned that the hard way. :-(
