Default Does Scor-Pal work with PTI CS??

I have never needed (nor wanted) a scor-pal because I would just line up my edges of my CS against my trimmer and press the fold with the bone folder...they turned out great!! BUT...just started using PTI white CS for my base, and it's too thick...it gets a messy edge that wrinkles slightly when I go over it with the bone folder.

I don't want to order the pre-folded cards from PTI because I like to change the orientation to a tall thin card if needed.

So...any of you using PTI CS...does the scor-pal give you a deep enough score for a crisp fold?

I'm interested to hear the answer to this as well.

yes, it works just fine. And if you don't think the crease is enough, it's easy to line back up and do it again. Love it!

I never thought I would want a scor pal either, but now that I have it, I love it. I make so many more little boxes and things now. And my PTI CS works great with it.

Yup it works fine.

If you want a super scorer, the Scor-it makes deeper score lines. I still like the Scor Pal better though!

Works fabulous! I use it every time I make a card to at least score the fold line.

Another vote for a Scor-Pal! And get some Scor-Tape while you're at it. :-) Love that 1/8" stuff.

I take a straight edge and run my bone folder along that a few times. Then fold and go back over the fold with my bone folder. That gives me a nice crisp fold, plus saves me $$.

I just got my Scor-Pal on Friday (from PTI) and I have it easily accessible because I use it for every card now. I use only PTI White card stock as my card bases. It works pergectly every time! Plus I can now make the My Timeless Templates with ease. I have a scorer for my paper trimmer but I question how accurate it was. I have converted and I LOVE my Scor-Pal! I'm so glad I bought it!

Ok another question...

On standard A2 cards, when you line it up to score it right (assuming the paper is cut perfectly) do the bottom edges of the card line up exactly when folded??

I don't want the front or back to be not quite matched up, and I get it perfect without scoring just that the fold isn't crisp.

Thanks!!

Yes, mine line up perfectly unless I made a mistake cutting or didn't hold the cardstock right in the corner of the Scor-Pal. I had to learn that lesson the hard way right after I got it - I would get it lined up and then reach for the scor-tool and inadvertently slide the cardstock.
