Default DEW DROPS & Jewels??

I see these beautiful embellishments listed on many card recipes and I cannot locate them anywhere!

Where can I purchase these elusive DEW DROPS?

I asusme they are flat on the backside, right? Are they slef adhesive or do I use a dot to apply?

Also, where do I purchase adhesive jewels to add a little bling to my cards? I find many are not self adhesive....and need glue or dots to fix into place. I prefer the adhesive kind...suggestions?

Help and direction is appreciated.

Thanks,

Kitchen Sink Stamps carries several styles of Dew Drops. They're flat on the back and you just add a dot of some type of adhesive. I usually use Crystal Effects from SU! to attach them to my projects.

www.ritzcamera.com has maybe three colors of the dew drops...you have to search for them....but they are only $4.19 or something like that.

I got some on Ebay last week for $5 a bottle (normally $6) as well.

7kidscollegefund.com has them...I think you still get 10% off with the code SCS10.

Ucutathome also has most colors....sometimes I add one to my order and it's basically free shipping that way since I am already buying.

And I use the Tombow Multi Adhesive...little green and white glue bottle...when they are dry you can't pick them off without peeling the paper...yep, I tried!

I've seen some listed at: www.cropstop.com

www.hannastamps.com

I have not seen them at Michael's or A.C. Moore.

I also bought some from Ellen Hutson. She has a nice selection and reasonable prices.

I bought some off of ebay. They were in individual bags of each color. I got one set of 1200 for like $17 total.

I got my dew drops at Ellen Hutson also. She has a great selection.

She also has a variety of bling here.

I purchased some jewels with adhesive at Hobby Lobby.

Ellen's prices are reasonable and service is wonderful. I am not affiliated but a happy customer.

You might try your local scrapbook store. I hardly ever go to mine but popped in today and was pleased to find Dew Drops! I liked being able to really see the colors, too. I also buy adhesive-backed gems at Hobby Lobby and Michael's.

I've ordered dew drops from Ellen Hutson and she has super speedy service and a nice variety of colors. I also found some in a floral shop in a farmer's market; they used them as filler material in hurricane candle holders. The glass ones are preferable to the plastic ones (Michaels had a plastic version I didn't care for) and I use a small glue dot to hold them in place.

Looks like you get plenty of answers on the Dew Drops but not so many on the jewels.
If you're happy with different sizes, Kaiser do some really lovely ones, both pearls and rhinestones, in a whole range of colours. I've got mine from Frantic Stamper (the colours I can't get from my regular supplier over here) but I noticed them on Flourishes too.

Oh yes, and sometimes I find the more transparent Dew Drops lose there colour when you stick them on darker card. If that happens I just punch little 1/4 inch circles of white and stick them to the back. The sizes aren't totally regular and some can be a bit smaller, but for almost all of them the 1/4 inch circle is totally covered by the drop. If not, I leave those ones for using on light card.
