i too use all of the cuttlebug stuff as well all of the other manufacturer stuff in my big shot, I think that that the big shot is a better machine by far, go to Julie Ebersole's Paper Truffles blog and read her write up about it, she has a really good one as that is why I bought mine. I love it as I can use my brass stencils without a light box yeah to get the dry embossing that is popular as well as many other things...

Totally love it. I've never had a diecut/embossing machine before and was worried it would be too cumbersome to use but it's awesome and easy.

You can pet my cuttlebug but you can't name it! I LOVE mine! I can see the advantages of a cricut but I wouldn't trade my CB for one. Definitely adds so much to my card crafting!
I waited a long time before buying one and then questioned whether I should just bring it back to the store.....but then I used it and loved it. Sometimes I have a card that just needs a little more extra to it and the cuttlebug saves the day!
I might not have gotten the hang of it yet and I have done some cute things with it, but I haven't gotten much use out of mine yet. I'd really like to have a cricut but can't afford it.
Part of it also might be that I don't have many dies or embossing folders yet.
Love,Love my Cuttle Bug I can't live with out it. My DH bought Cricut for x-mas last year I took that back to get the Cuttle Bug. I can't live with out my Cuttle Bug and Provcraft has a new one coming out for kids going to buy that one allso as soon as it it's released. They allso have new folders for the bug which look really great.
I Love my Cuttlebug. Like some of the other ladies, this was the best purchase I have made in a long time. ITs really easy to use and you can both cut and emboss with it. You can use pretty much any embossing folder or die with it which makes it very versitle. go buy it you own't be sorry!

Me, me, ME...I LOVE my Cuttlebug and use it ALL the time! I don't have any of the cutting dies, but I use the embossing folders to give beautifully textured backgrounds to my cards. I even emboss designer paper. The CUttlebug is so small and easy to use...very convenient!

I am waiting until March 2008. If everyone is still going crazy over diecuts then- I'll hop on board. I've wanted one since they were introduced- but I want EVERYTHING that is new and exciting. SO I try not to buy
I love my Bug!! Awesome tool. I need to find an on line place to order dies & folders as I don't live very close to a Michaels or Joann to get them with coupons one at a time. Does anyone have a resource for them at great prices?
Thanks ladies ... I appreciate all your feedback. I think I will be buying one!
Either the birthday fairy or Santa will hopefully know I need one!! : )
Will make sure to use the 50% off coupon ... err or shall I say, I will tell Santa
to use it.
I always worry about buying something that spendy since I am a SU demo since
we can't use that with out customers. But I can use it on my own and with my scrapbooking!
Thanks again!

$150 in australia no half price coupons down under and no micheals or what ever we just have to pay that price but.............. I still love it .......never owned a die cut machine of any sort before
Ouch! I'd be asking someone in the states to buy one and ship it to you. $150 Autralian is like about $130 US? I bet someone could ship it to you for $30 or less and that would make it a lot less.

As another Aussie, I don't have a bug yet because the cheapest I've seen is $120 --- the one of my fave stores said the BigShot was better?? (Bit confused at this point.)
As for postage USA to AUS......
If it fits, go the Flat Rate Box (max 20 pounds) for US$37. For other things you might desire sent that are smaller, try the Flat Rate Envelope (max 4 pounds) for US$11.
