Default The Cuttlebug Folders are to die for

You all were not kidding me ~ I am in heaven with these large folders.. They are incredible. I had to go back to busybeescrapbooking for all the rest!!!! I am playing all day long~ I cant get over how crisp the embossing is... no matter what you use it on. I finally have a use for all that cheap paper I have been stocking up on all these years. And I cant get over how well it works on SU cardstock.. I am overwhelmed.. like a kid in a candy store.. hehe

on the general stamping forum there is a thread with a link to show that you don't need the machine but can use the folders with a rolling pin!

I don't even know what to say... a rolling pin. Now I've heard everything.

Ya, I don't have the cuttlebug but was thinking of getting it now. Well I am just gonna spend the money on folders instead of the bug. Too bad for the comapny if enough people find out!

Had I had it to do again, I would still buy my Big Shot. It does a LOT more than emboss. Next someone is going to say you can beat a Sizzix die with a hammer.

OK, that was snarky, but I don't think I'm the only one in that I'd rather invest the money in the technology.

Actually Sizzix just realeased an entire new line. I use my cuttlebug in my big shot- works like a charm. But I did just order the 4 inch sizzix letters.. Same as the SU stamps but die cut letters.. I just love the cuttelbug embossing folders but sizzix just came out with about 5o new folders as well so I think they are pretyy much the same. I love them all.. but I did notice all the cutting tools from cuttlebug I already had from sizzix except that darn adorable upside down snowman. I had to have it. I guess I am so use to the brass templated in the sidekick that I was overwhelmed to see the cuttlebug large fodlers. Fantastic..

I agree! I love my Bug, it does tons of stuff, and I don't regret my purchase at all- even though I can't demo it! And I'm betting the rolling pin wouldn't give you the same look.

I hate rolling pins, so I'm still happy with my Bug. Rolling pin is a great way to find out how marvelous those embossing folders are, though. I think it will actually convince *more* people to invest in a Bug!

I think you're right! The Bug is so much easier than a rolling pin. Plus, once you had the folders, then you'd start wanting some dies... It's contagious!

I think you're right too! The rolling pin will hold me over until I can afford the bug though!
