Default Cuttlebug and Fiskars

I know i have asked this question before...but I can't find the link. Somewhere on this forum there is a list of different types of embossing and die cuts you can use with the cuttlebug and it tells you the steps and things to need to adjust it to use with the cuttlebug.

Or if someone can tell me how can I make the fiskars hard embossing plates work with the cuttlebug. I think on that link I read I need some kind of "wizard" pad or something but then it told the order the plates should go in.

Does anyone know where this link is? or can you help? thank Kristin

Is it this? If you open up the chart it tells you the sandwich for fiskar plates:

I've been playing today with my fiskars plates and new Cuttlebug.

I found that I had the best luck using an old mouse pad. I tried the sandwiches using fun foam, but the mouse pad, for me, worked better.

I used this as my sandwich:
Plate A
Fiskars Texture plate
Cardstock
Mouse pad
Plate B

It was tight, but it went in ok. I rolled it through, and then before it cleared the rollers, I rolled it back through backwards.

Like some other posters said in other threads, I couldn't really get the snowflake plate to work. I may try to mist my cardstock lightly with alcohol as suggested on another thread, though.

I had great luck with the spider web and spirals. I didn't play with all of my plates, but I was pleased with most of the results.

Also, the embossing is not as deep as with the Cuttlebug folders. The effect is definitely much more subtle but still pretty.

I hope this helps someone else!

Helen.....The results will be more subtle with the texture plates than the embossing folders....that's the difference between just texture and embossing.

Also I would use water to mist if you want, not alcohol. I would think the alcohol would discolor your paper.
