Here it is www.paperdreamsstore.com

Joella, I glad you like the Snowflakes as much as I do! Be sure to try glossy
cardstock and tell me what you think. I also bought some really amazing shimmery paper at Pebbles and I love what the cut-n-emboss does to it! Vellum looks nice, too! I did use the cardstock weight and the lighter stuff. Cardstock was the better of the two! Have fun!! We have about 6 inches on the ground here in Springville. It was -4 below last night. We have been in Springville for 20+ years. I have always loved snowflakes! Hey? does anyone know who might have the sapphire snowflake punch from EK Success? It is no longer on the JoAnn's Website. Thanks!

Heidi, I am just returning the favor. Someone on here made me aware of those punches quite some time ago and they have been on my list for a long time!

How big are the images? I must say I'm also a freak over all things snow, snowflakes, snowmen, snowy days, etc.

Default Would someone be willing to send me ...

... a sample of the Sliders and Tiny Tags Cuttlebug dies? I have searched and searched and none of the craft stores in my area have either of these two dies. Michael's stock has been empty for weeks! I'd like to purchase these dies, but would like to see the actual size before I do.

If someone would be willing to cut these onto scrap paper and send them to me I would be most grateful.

Please PM me for my address.

Thanks.

today I received my replacement B cutting pads from Provocraft (the first ones broke in half when cutting chipboard with a sizzix die and bug). I tested it out with cardstock, and the plates seem to be a bit thinner because the sizzix die rolled through alot easier than it did before.

Question looking for an honest opinion (or 2)

OK all you Cuttlebuggers....I have the Cricut (which I LOVE) and use it mostly for fonts because I like to have the different sizes, and I have the BIG origional Sizzix. I was thinking of selling off my Sizzix and buying the Cuttlebug because I LOVE those big embossing folders. Sizzix had some embossing folders but they were pretty small and I wasn't thrilled. I like the CB ones cause they cover the whole card. I also hate that the Sizzix is sooo heavy and I can't bring it anywhere. Is the CB really that different from the Sizzix? Do you all love it as much as I wrote that I love my Cricut? Do you find you use it mainly for the embossing? Thanks a lot for the help ladies!

I have the original Sizzix and use it for the larger embossing folders with no problems. Don't (at this time) feel the need to get a Cuttlebug.

The Cuttlebug is way super light weight and compact. I like it for that very reason. I also have the Cricut and LOVE it!! They have the cartridges on sale at www.creativexpress.com for just under $60. I just got the Opposites Attract cartridge. I couldn't resist, I tried, but I couldn't!

Anyone know if Sizzix Bigz dies fit in the Cuttlebug? The Cuttlebug is wider and regular sizzix fit in it. I just don't know about the Bigz dies...

The CB is very cute and easy to use... not to mention, very light as compared to the heavy sizzix. That said, I've been able to do everything with my sizzix that my friend can do with her cuttlebug. My favorite thing is the A2 CB embossing folders and they work great in the sizzix as long as you have the sizzix converter. I could've gotten the CB for 50% off, but decided not to and just got all the A2 folders I wanted instead! I figured it was a good trade off. Also the sizzix machines aren't going for much right now.

This is such a long thread that I can't possibly go through it all. All I want to know is if the dies and embossing folders can be used on the Sidekick. If so does it need anything else? Thank you.

I don't know if the dies or Embossing folders will fit the side kick because I don't have one. I know the A2 folders will not fit, they're too wide. I kinda suspect that the dies may work because you use the same "sandwich" with Sizzlets dies as you do with CB dies on the CB machine. come to think of it it's the same sandwich with the embossing folders as well, so I'm thinking the small embossing folders might work too. hhhmmm.... what an interesting thought. you should try them out and let us know if it works!

I have the Sidekick, but I haven't used it since I got the CB. I will probably have time to try it out tomorrow and let you know. Tonight I'm knee deep in ribbons, cutting for my shares. Where's my "whew" smiley?

Yep, I sure will. You don't want to buy folders and dies if the won't work!

Denise H.: I ordered from them the day after Christmas and had most of my stuff by the following Friday. There was one item on Back order. They sent it as soon as they got it in and didn't charge me extra shipping! You can call and they will tell what they have in stock and what would be on backorder. I love this store and will order again! Tell them I sent you!

I have the Side Kick. I have used the 2X2 embossing folders in it. The ones that have 4 in a package. I have also used the 2X2 dies and they work great.

I meant to answer last night when you firsat posted but has to take 19 yo DD to the ER. She is fine! She has had some back pain in her kidneys and her stomach was bloated & distended. They ran losts of tests and all things were functioning normal. WE left the house @ 8:30 pm and didn't get back home here until 1:00 pm. We had to pick here up at her apt. DH dropped us off at the ER. DH then took 7 you DD to big sister's(21) apt. DH then joined us. Then we had to pick of 7 yo DD from sis's and then back to DD19's and then back home. I am really wiped out today! Waiting is so tiring and stressful.

I miss the edit button also. What happened to it?

I really dislike emergency rooms, but it seems all the biggies in our family happen late in the evening when even the urgent care isn't open, just like your daughter. Broken arm, cut hand requiring surgery to repair nerve and artery, just to name two of them. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they're there, but your regular Dr. would take much more efficient care of you.

I ordered from them and was disappointed so many things were on backorder. I wish I had known before I ordered. However, they didn't charge extra shipping to ship it out to me, it just took longer.

I ordered some folders from http://www.happyscrappinscrapbooking.com/ and they were incredible. They had all the folders I wanted except the snowflakes. I mentioned in the notes on my order that if it came in stock to please add it. She actually sent me HER folder that she had not opened yet! And she shipped the next day! It was very quick! And I just got an email from them that all the cuttlebug stuff is back in stock!

Good luck!

I have started to order from them a couple of times and always backed out. I almost ordered the BISK and some texture plates, but I'd heard from you guys that they were backordered. I ended up just getting them from Ellison directly because Ellison carries a hard-to-find set of texture plates and it was cheaper to pay Ellison's higher price than to pay separate shipping.

I also ordered a couple of A2 embossing folders from www.happyscrappinscrapbooking.com (starting with the gift one, thanks to Jan). They were out of the Birthday, Tiny Bubbles, and Mesh. I made a note on my order that I wanted to add them and she added them and shipped them when they came in. I placed the order last week and they all came yesterday. I really like that place!!

Default CB ever!

I have been enabled...... I was able to use the 50% off coupon at Joanne's- just had to show them the box says made by the makers of Cricut......and they let me use the coupon on the folders and small dies as well. I

Thanks so much or the sandwich thread- I have used the Fiscars texture plates- was only able to use i chipboard sheet and 2 fun foam layers- could not fit more through. And, the misting is what makes the difference. It does not emboss as deeply as the CB folders, but it is way cool!!! Now, the brass stencils are out and begging to be used!!!

Oh- the Hobby Lobby by me does NOT carry the Cuttle Bug or any of the accessories. Mikes did not have it out- I had to ask if they carried it.......Joann had it in a display by the register, so I walked right by it and went to the scrapbooking area. They only carry 2 or 3 folders, and only one was in stock.......

Off to play!

Happy Scrappin' ships for free if you buy over a hundred dollars worth of products. They also have a frequent shoppers program which gives you a dollar for every twenty-five you spend to use on another purchase. You can sign up for their newsletter for an additional discount too. Paper Dreams also has free shipping if you spend a certain amount. They were both easy to work with and my experience with both has been good. You just have to catch them when they have what you want to order.

Both Joann and Mike's let me use coupons two days ago! They didn't have much in stock though. I've done much better ordering online.

I just checked their website. The shipping starts at $6.95 for an order up to $29.99. The interesting thing is that instead of going up with a higher order, it goes down! So, if you order a bit more, it's $5.95, and it goes down to $0 when you reach $100. That's something to consider for the future. I wish I'd just used my head and known you'd all convince me I needed all the folders and just gotten them at once.

I love the big folders! Can't wait for them to make new designs. I embossed a lot of white 5 1/2" x 4" cards with the swirl to use for sympathy, wedding and birthday cards I want to send this week. The dies make awsome cuts too. I think I'll make some to use on these cards.

WHOO HOO! Steph - I got my backorder from Paper Dreams today. I haven't yet ripped open the box of my BISK, but it looks SOOO cool! To bad my snowflake folder is still MIA, but this set looks quite fun! Now off to the sandwich thread to properly use my contraband product and grab my mister for some spritzin'! Thanks ladies!!
