Default Cuttlebug C plates...

Someone awhile ago was asking where to find replacements for the C plates of the 'bug, but I can't find that thread so I just thought I'd make a new one. In the one thread I found in Cuttlebug-itis, someone said they thought Provo didn't make a replacement C plate...well, they do now I guess! I just saw one at Cord Camera, and it was $9.99 then 30% off that (every day price). They are only in IN and OH, but they do have a website http://www.cordcamera.com (it doesn't show the plates on the site but they'd probably be happy to ship them to anyone, it's a family business and they are pretty nice there).
AND, I got a "gift set" of 2 Quickutz alphabets plus Christmas tree dies (squares & triangles) for $42!!!! (original $170)...it was called "Merry & Bright" but the alphas are not Christmas-y or anything, totally awesome!
Anyway, HTH someone...

I will have to check out Cord Camera. Another place online to get great bargains on scrapbooking and stamping stuff is Wolf Camera.

nottoocreative.......I'm just curious....Why are you needing to replace your C plate for your Cuttlebug? It's only used as a spacer plate and not a cutting pad. I can't see why there would be any need to replace it? It would always go underneath your die or embossing folder, never on top of it.

If you're like me, I accidentally have cutting marks on my c pad from when I was trying to learn to use the cuttlebug. And I'm still learning.

Even if your C plates did "accidentally" get cut marks on it, now you know they only go under your die or embossing folders, so no need to replace them. Why waste the money to replace, the marks won't interfere if C is under your die or embossing folder.

My Cuttlebug came with an instruction booklet that said what plates were to be used in what order, so no my C plate is not marked.

faithfulone........The C plate is the clear one. White one is A and is thicker and is ALWAYS on the bottom. C plate is thinner than A but thicker than B cutting pads. There is only 1 C plate, but 2 B cutting pads.
