Default Crossover die cutting and embossing machine

Now that the technology has been out for awhile, does anyone have any experience with the new crossover die machines, like the ones sold by Tattered Lace and Cheery Lynn Designs?

There is a thread on here somwher..actually 2. Would NOT recommend this machine to anyone. Yes, I have one for just over a year and it has required repairs twice. I am not a fan. I purchased a Big Shot Plus and love it for way less money.

I have had my Crossover for 1.5 years. Within 2 weeks the handle fell off. Got repair parts from the company and hubby fixed it. Several months later the internal gears broke so it was down for repair again. I purchased a Big Shot Plus and I love it way more. There are a few threads here on SCS
about the Crossover. One of the threads has ladies in the UK talking abut their problems with the units. It seems like they were having issues getting help with probems they were experiencing with their units. Not too long ago I noticed they were not selling them in the US anymore. My personal opinion is its way overpriced and not reliable. I would not want to see a friend get one.

Thank You sprtchick! I just returned to Splitcoast stampers after being gone from this site for years. I tried to find a thread on the crossover machine here but did not see it. Not sure how to search for it and tried just looking at as many thread listings as I could.
Your comment helps me enormously!

Lol I saw a video here by the man that designed the Crossover, he was advising against using wax paper for cutting dies. Guess what machine he was using for his demo....Big Shot. I got a kick out of that one.
