ok girls. was in Wally World, just strollin', minding my own business, cruised through the 'craft' area, and ran smack into a box, and I'll be danged if that box didn't just hop right into my arms. Being as I am terrified of 'cricuts' I just about freaked and I screamed. But it was such a cute cricut and it convinced me, that if I took it home with me and gave it a home, it would show me all the magical things it could do. I finally gave in and gingerly carried it to the check out gave the nice lady my Magic VISA card and brought the cute guy home with me. Happy to say, it is resting comfortably on my desk, after showing me some amazing tricks. And I thought I didn't like cricuts.... Fun Stuff.
Just got the new Cricut Expressions and I am the most popular person in my stamp group. We all love it. Wasn't sure about the price, but we all share and since the old cartridges work in the new one......
I recently did the sleigh from the Christmas cartridge and before I cut it, I stamped it with one of our backgrounds (older one ) and heat embossed it in silver. OMG it is gorgeous on a scrapbook page

You are hilarious!!! I bought one for my birthday 2 weeks ago and I LOVE it. I want to find a way to incorporate it into my scrapbook club each month, but I don't sell cricut's, I sell SU...
Wendy, do like I did and show how stamping prior to cutting is so advantageous. Also, with any of the alphabit cuts, do a shadow with our cardstock or are designer papers. Seems my customers like that idea.

Congrats on your purchase. I just recently bought myself one and just love it. I am going to be losing my 8-5 job at the end of the year and the Cricut was my "I'm losing job gift to myself". I figured when I was unemployed it was a purchase I normally wouldn't make so I made sure I did it before the end. Plus I will have a lot of time to scrap and figured it would definetly get a good workout.
Oh, yes. There are endless possibilities of how to use it with SU products. I was thinking of letting my girls use it during my club for $1 each (they bring their own paper). I'd but that $1 in a pool and use that money to buy new blades (they seem to dull fast) and software for all to use. What do you think?
I think that you've got a great idea - and I plan to run that by my girls. The new club starts the end of July. Where do you buy the sheets and blades? Walmart?
