I told everyone it was on tonight and I FORGOT LOL I just turned it on so I missed most of the presentation. Its a low price, so is it like a regular cricut??? I need to watch this.
Thanks for this link. I watched the HSN program. Someone said it would be on at 10 so I tuned in and it wasn't on. I thought I missed it. Then found it at midnight. Guess the someone who posted was in a different time zone and I hadn't thought about that! I first wondered if you had to download or install a program to use it. The biggest downfall to this machine that I see is you MUST have an internet connection because you use their online designing program. AM I right? For those who don't have internet, they're just out of luck. I had an Expression and sold it a few months afterwards. Too much hassle since I couldn't just leave it out. Had to get it out, plug it in, choose a cartridge, etc.. I sometimes miss it, but then can ask a friend to make me a few cuts on hers.
Yes, you must have a computer and internet connection. Also, it can only cut images from cartridges that you own, and it can only be used in conjuction with the Cricut Craft Room. Oh, and it doesn't print, only the Imagine can do that.
I can't remember if they mentioned that or not. I know they said it could be used on a PC or a Mac...I think you use the program online, so you may not have to download any software...
I found this information:
Cricut Mini is a small, lightweight, ultra-portable way to make almost anything you want – out of many different types of materials, including thick and thin paper, fabric, vinyl, magnetic material, craft foil, and lots more. With Cricut Mini, it’s easier than ever to make projects and be more creative!
•Small, portable, and lightweight for ultra space savings.
•Works with any computer PC or MAC with a standard wireless or wired Internet connection.
•Simply plug it in, turn it on, connect to Cricut Craft Room – the online design tool where you can see and design with every Cricut cartridge – and start making projects..
•Cuts up to 8.5” x 12” paper and other materials. Cut small shapes and fonts from ” to larger cuts up to 11”!
You too what? Did you order and cancel too, or just caved to order? This is one of the reasons I do not order online. It would be dangerous for my budget!!!

I ordered then looked into it and realized that:
Even though it has a 8x 12 cutting mat ( which I would prefer) it does not allow me to use it if I am not online. My internet is spotty.
Also, it seems every time there is a new product introduced it has bugs to work out.
Now, if they ever make a machine like the cricut create with a 8x12 mat.... I will be all over it
