Default cricut

Not really sure how, but here is a thought if you can't figure it out.
Cut out the circle then the M in white and stick it on.
Is a bit more work, but sometimes its easier then trying to figure something out. I get a brain cramp sometimes and just need an easier way.

Ok....will give that a try. Hopefully I'll get better at this thing. I know it has a lot to offer...if...only I can get it to do it's tricks...thanks Patsy

Smile Question

Hi,
I have a question about a Cricut Cartridge. I thought I saw one with some adorable fonts that look like fairy tale writing. There were a few different styles on one cartridge. Anyone know what that one is??
Thanks!

Hi, Just found this thread.
I think I want to get the computer program that links the Cricut to the computer. Does anyone have it already? On the box they make it look like you have access to ALL of the cartridges with this program. Is that true? Right now I only have 3 cart. and can't afford to buy alot of them. If I buy the computer program and can have all of the cart. in that it's well worth the $60 at Walmart.
Any advise?
Thanks

You can *see* all of the carts and their capabilities by using the software, but to cut from a cart, you MUST have that particular cart.

The program is WELL WORTH the money (and I paid $90 for it). I very rarely cut on my Cricuts without the software now that I have it. I love my software, love my Cricuts, and love my carts. I can't craft without them.

I bought the Oracle 631 in a variety of colors. I love that it came in such big rolls. One of the rolls that I bought was metallic gold. I love all of the colors that I bought!

If you want a bundle the best deal is at http://www.acmoore.com . If you only want the machine and the carts that normally come with it check http://www.customcrops.com and http://www.creativexpress.com (try using the coupon listed in the cricut chatter thread-I think it's taxrebate2008 ).

Thought I'd post another cheap place to get cartridges and other stuff. Cricutoutlet.net some $36. Some 54. Oh and the software is cheaper too. And they have something called the jukebox, you don't have to change the cartridges each time.

Question Cricut HELP

Hello, does anyone have an answer to why my Cricut machine all of a sudden keeps saying on the screen: mem comm err ??

It will NOT let me do anything. I have tried switching cartridges and even unplugging and re-plugging my machine. I would appreciate any help with this problem and directions I need to make to correct this.
Thank you ladies!

I totally did the same thing - I just went for it! My birthday was this week, so that was my reason for indulging as well.

I ordered mine on June 1 (Sunday) and UPS is saying it'll be here June 6 (Friday). That's not a bad turnaround. Mine is making its way from Michigan to Texas.

Have fun with your new toy! I cannot wait for tomorrow!!!

I just purchased a cricut expressions. I can't wait to get it. I purchased the AC Moore bundle. I saw a couple of people talking about it and thought I would check it out. I was a good deal. One question though.....What are the ink colors for? I thought this was just a cutting machine but I guess not. I do not know anyone who has this so I will be learning on my own......LOL it will be interesting.

They can highlight around the edges prior to cutting. You would use the repeat function. I have only used mine once or twice, but some people love them.

FYI ..... if anyone is still holding back on the Expression, A.C. Moore has the *bundle* for $309!! What an awesome price. That's the machine, 4 carts, and 5 inks.

I think you're talking about Storybook font. It's a preorder coming out sometime in July. I preordered it at Cutter's Creek for $59. I think it's like the Solutions carts (like Indy art, etc.) that has fewr images and doesn't come in a box because of the price, but the font options looked beautiful. Can't wait.

Smile Cricut Help!

Hi everyone!

I am new to the Cricut Expression world and would love help on learning to use this amazing machine. I see so many things but not sure how to do them. Would love to take lessons.

Like for example when you see these cute little disney figures how do you paint on the faces and do you paper piece the different colors?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to utilize this machine as much as possible.

Thanks in advance.

When you open your booklet you'll see all the cut out options for each piece of the face, clothing, etc. I would suggest investing in an xyron 1.5 " sticker machine if you have not already. This is an awesome $9.99 tool to get those teenie tiny pieces assembled. The refills are not bad in price either.

Default cricut design studio help

I am having a bit of a struggle with the design studio software. I am working on welding words and have successfully welded vertically and horizontally but cannot figure out how to weld in a circle or around edges. Anyone out there figure this out yet? Thanks!

Talking New! cricut create! and cricut Jukebox!

I know most of you probably have a cricut already, in case not, I want to let you know about the new cricut create machine!
From what I have been told, it's a Michaels exclusive, due out in the first week of august. It cuts the same size as the original cricut, 6x12, but is referred to on the box as "a baby bug". It seems a little smaller than the first cricut. It comes with a new DonJuan cartridge! Not sure on the price yet.
Here's a link to a pic (this is the only info online I found about it, there's nothing about it on the cricut website even!)
http://just-a-scrappin.blogspot.com/...ut-create.html

Also, some of you may have already heard of it, but Michaels is also going to be selling the new cricut Jukebox!
It allows you to have 6 cartridges hooked up to the machine at one time!
This one is not exclusive to michaels. Not sure on michaels price yet.

Happy chirping!

From what I understand, the cricut create has the functionality of the expression with the small size of the original cricut. You can flip, rotate, center, etc with it along with other features that the expression has.

Then it lets you pick the cartridge you want and on the right-hand side there is a box with some options in it. Pick cartridge sample and it will bring up a PDF file that you can save that has everything on the cartridge. I don't think it works for the Disney ones but all the regular ones should have it.

And like someone else said, the newsletter is great! They give you tips for using your machine and different ideas for the cartridges. They also include a project. The web site also lets you see past newsletters, I think.

Can you tell I LOVE my Cricut???
I love your idea of storing info in a binder. I am definitely going to have to make one.

I would definitely suggest to anyone who wants the functionality of the Expression to get the Expression. I now have it and Design Studio and I did Mini Mouse, all parts, all cuts at one time. The 12x12 cutting mat really makes all the difference for me.

did yall know about the new Cricut Jukebox? It will be available at Michaels the first week of august, and our Joann's had it too. If you haven't heard of it, look it up here:
http://www.cricut.com/shopping/Produ...&s=5&sc=1&t=ip

It holds 6 carts and hooks up to the cricut, so you don't have to change the cart all the time.
