Does anyone know which cartridge has an ATV/Four Wheeler as one of the shapes? I've seen the shape on eBay saying it was a cricut shape but I can't find it listed on Linda's Cheat list. Thanks for the help. Diane

I hope someone can help me. I just purchased a Cricut Expression, Scal 2.0 (waiting for key code) and downloaded Inkscape. I would now like to figure out how to print the following items, Cupcake Wrappers for Weddings and Engagements, found on the below link: http://www.iloveknk.com/2009/05/more-cupcake-wrappers/
The format for the wrappers is a knk not an svg. How do I convert this item to an svg and then use my Scal and Cricut to print them? I really hope someone can help me as I have no idea what I am doing and I would like to make these for my SIL wedding.
what's the difference between the expression, the regular one and there's another one too but i cant remember the name of it. do the cricut cartridges work with each different cricut??? i mean are they interchangeable? thanks
(crossing fingers....)i've "laid" so many hints and such that a cricut is what i would "like" for my birthday(which is thursday.....the big 40!!! lol)....let's hope he's gotten so sick of hearing it that he gets it....lmao.....
the only thing have seen different about the various cricuts is the size of the machine itself? is this correct because i've only seen one and not for long....the carts fit all machines, does the little key pad cover thingie fit all machines too?? i'm just trying to be "prepared" so i know how to use it when i do get it....thursday....lol (i'm trying to pass the mojo vibe to my hubbyman....lol)
Happy Birthday and good luck with getting the cricut for your b-day, minw will be here next Monday and I can hardly wait!!! Mine is my Christmas present, a little early, but thats ok with me, hehe

I got my Expression for my birthday, and here's what I did. I emailed DH with a link to the deal on HSN and told him that's what I wanted for my birthday. I also told him that I would shop around for a great deal, and I found one. With my husband, I can't be subtle. I have to come right out and show him what I want. If you're not sure the hints will work, you might want to try that too. I hope you get your Cricut, and Happy Birthday!
Well surprise, surprise surprise, no sooner had I posted a while ago and the UPS man came and he had my Cricut, and Your Story book binder, I was in shock, it wasn't supposed to arrive til next Monday. I guess there will be another box, because the 4 cartridges aren't with it, so maybe tomorrow or thursday or next Monday, but its ok with me, one cartridge came, so I can take it home and play, yippee. Can you tell I'm excited!!!

Thank you.
Here is something she said that might help you!
"If you have KNK Studio, then you can export as SVG, but I’m guessing that’s not why you’re asking. Judy is now providing these in .PDF format so that they can be opened in Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape for conversion to SVG or DXF. Join the CutterVenting Yahoo group and you can get the files this way."

Help. I have the Everyday Paperdoll cartridge and I can't get it to make a fence that is 3/4 inch tall any longer than may 2 inches. I would like to make a fence that is 8 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inch tall. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Gio,
No expert here, but what size mat are you using 12 x 12 or 12 x 24? If you're using 12 x 12 please try 12 x 24. Good luck!

I'm not sure about this, but could you use the "Fit To Length" option (set to 11") and set your size to 3/4"? I haven't tried this feature yet, so it's just an idea. Let us know what works for you, and good luck.
I don't know of any discussions but I would be worried that any adhesive would gunk up the blade and I know that adhesives can dull your scissors so I would use caution in this area. Just my humble opinion....
I use adhesive all the time. I run the paper through my xyron first..put it paper side down so it will stick, if you are making letters make sure you use the flip feature, if there is no right or wrong way, go ahead and cut. I do put my blade depth at 6 and the pressure on high. if you want to be extra safe to make sure it cuts, use the multi cut too if you are doind intricate areas. My blade is fine, but if you want, you can use the alcohol wipes and carefully clean the blade, but I dont and its fine. I think it will wear out before it gets gunked up
