There's a person selling their e-bug (the big one) for $199 shipped (but no cartridges) over on the Cricut.com message board. Here's a link to their post. I'm happy with my little one so even though the price is right, I don't think it's anything I need.

Ladies-
I had a general question that may or may not be easily answered. I love the Stampin Up Bold Brights Cardstock. (I do a lot of card making for birthday parties and I am starting to scrapbook for my 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son.) I am not the best at putting colors together that is one reason why I like the Bold Brights. Anyway, has anyone that has the bold bright colors purchased the Doodlecharms, Celebrations and Christmas Cheer papers? Would they go together? If you can't tell, I need Garanimals for colors! If these don't go together, could I potentially be happy with the 12X24 cardstock by Cricut and just cup it down?

Just finished 2 birthday cards with 2 of the new cartridges I was given and I am off to finish a Halloween project for my son's class. Thanks for any help you can give.

I don't have any of the Cricut papers for the different carts. Can you take scraps of the SU colors with you to the store to see if they match the patterned papers? That might be the easiest way to see if they coordinate. Sorry I couldn't help more!

If I were to sell my Cricut, cartridges George & Doodlecharms, how much are they going for?

I would say Doodlecharms would sell for $36 and George for $60. Good luck!

I have a slight issue in that I can't find a store in my area that has the Cricut paper in stock. I may just bite the bullet and order and hope that my cardstock will coordinate.

I think I was most impressed with the $3.50 tackle box from Wal-Mart! I also like shoe bag holder on the door but I don't know if I'd want my DH to see how many cartridges I have. I don't necessarily HIDE things from him but I tend to think that the less he is aware of my collection, the better. Ha! Actually, this weekend was the first that he'd learned about my having the Cricut machine. He thought it was a printer. I told him about the good deal I had on buying it ($100 shipped, used) and I could see the wheels turning in his head - especially when I said these sell at retail at some places for MUCH more. (He's the tightwad, I'm the spender -- unless it comes to computer equipment that our server just HAS to have.)

Funny about your DH. Mine came up to my stamp room about 7 months ago and looked at my carts (when I had 12) and was shocked that I had that many because he knew the price of them. Of course he has never said anything about the 10's of thousands I have in Stampin' Up! stuff. Probably because when I was a demo that paid for it.

I really like the binder because I own 25 carts now and they will all fit in that! I would need 3 door hangers because they only hold 12 carts each. The tackle box is neat, too. I really like having my carts in my boxes for the time being but I am still thinking of giving my stamp room to my baby so I might need to condense some things.

I know this is where to ask my Cricut questions, and I do have a very basic one that is more than likely answered somewhere in the 77 pages of this thread...if only I had time to read them.

Is it worthwhile to purchase the first Cricut machine with the AC Moore deal of $129? Or should I save my money and get the bigger one. Mind you, I don't even know what I will do with the smaller one, but it seems like something I should have in my toolbox for my customers.

All input appreciated!

The ACMOrre deal is a good deal. If you are uncertain, I think I would get it first to see how you use it. You could always sell it latter for a 80-100 and keep the George cart. I think thats is what they have been selling for w/o the cart. If you think you'll use it alot then save for the bigger one and sell the small one. I only have the small one and I paid twice the ACMoore price. I think I will eventually get the larger one, but I think I'll wait a year for a better price. right now I would rather spend my money on carts and the software. HTH

That's a really good question. Only a few of us on this thread have the big bug and everyone else is happy with the original. Having said that.... I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the big bug!!! I use it all the time. What do you think you will be using it for???

Custom Crops is having a sale on Cuttin' Up cartridge for only $39.99! This is $20 cheaper than what I bought it for just three weeks ago. Here's the link http://us.f330.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Sho...ead=&box=Inbox This is one of my new favorite cartridges. There are so many fun fonts on it. I find myself reaching for it all the time!!

Then maybe just get the little bug for now. The big one is pretty huge but so awesome! You can do a lot of fun stuff with the baby bug, too.

I missed the tackle box at first, so I just went back and looked farther. Love that idea, it's probably the one that I can afford, too lol.

I've used the big bug and really like it, but I think it's probably out of my price range. I love my little one though, and use it all of the time.

LOL!!!

LOL Ditto!
Plus everytime I use my small one it makes what I want. I havent needed anything larger, but I am afraid I would if I had one KWIM. SO right now its safer to buy the carts I want and be content. I am affraid it will be years before I catch up to Robyn. But thats okay I have Time, and If I dont I certainly wont need the carts.

If you use one, you'll wish you had one! LOL!!! I'm also fortunate to know someone kind enough to share hers if I really *need* to cut something bigger than my little bug can cut.
