I have decided to sell my opposites attract cartridge. I just don't use it as much as I should. I have used it twice. I purchased it for $60, but will sell for $45 plus shipping. I posted it in the bst, but wanted to let you know too in case any of you are wanting that cartridge.

Default SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered it! Mini Monograms coming my way! Here's the BEST part: After shipping, all I paid was $17.06!!! I did that thing with the Paypal rewards.

I haven't been able to use my Cricut for myself very much, but my daughter is running for student council secretary and it sure made neat looking posters!

Where are you all finding out about cartridges being discontinued? On the Cricut board?

So, I figure, if I'm not in a rush to buy a cart, then I can wait for a lower bid price cart and get $25 off!
I wrote about it here a few days ago...here's the quote. I quit using my Target card which used to be my only card I used. I liked the 10% off thing they do with their points...but after a while, well, how much do I really need there? Generally, I think credit cards are the work of the devil so to speak. I've seen families torn up because of their inability to use them the right way. BUT if you are someone who limits their spending and can have self-discipline and pay the whole the off each month (like me) then basically you are getting $ to spend on eBay! I think it's great since I know they aren't making interest on me

Wow! Awesome deal!!! I love this cart!! I cut letters for my sons school projects the last 2 years. It really makes the whole project much nicer! I even had two moms ask me to cut their childs letters last year!

That's about what they are selling for on Ebay. You can bid for weeks and pay more.

Yes or the online sellers. Their are 6 right now. If you look at JKCrafts basically the ones that are for about 38 $ are being discontinued.

I just clicked to post a link and guess What They Have PaperDolls for 59.95, and the new Christmas one also, I might have to go order or chreck out Kim and see what's Up!

Subscribing. I resisted for quite awhile. I bought it used from someone for $125 including shipping. It should be here some time this week. How could I pass that up? I'm not sure which cartridge she is including - I didn't ask and thought it would be a nice surprise.

The AC Moore Expression bundle comes with the exclusive "Stretch Your Imagination" cart, Paper Pups, Accent Essentials, Plantin Schoolbook, & a set of Cricut markers. I think that is the one I will be getting pretty soon.

I assume an AC Moore is a craft store, but I've never heard of it. What part of the country are you in? or rather what part of the country are they in? Here in Texas we have Michael's and Hobby Lobby. Hobby Lobby's prices are always a good 10-20% lower than Michael's. I think we might still have MJDesigns stores in TX, but I haven't seen one in a while. I live out in the country in a little tiny town that is a far cry from Houston and Dallas where I did my growing up. I digress... My limited choices are what leads me to shopping on eBay so much.

AC Moore is in the East. We do not have an AC Moore here in Oklahoma either but I have a friend in NC who will pick up one for me and ship it. She got me the Paper Doll bundle, too.

Okay I can find lots of sites that want to sell me this cart, but I can't find where I can actually SEE what it does. You know, where you can see all the shapes/letters/special features a cart has to offer... Can someone post a link?

What should I do??? My DH said I can purchase the Expression on Friday. Should I still get it??? I have been looking forward to it for so long but now that I can actually do it I am having second thoughts. I could do some other fun stuff with all that money. I already own the little bug. Any advice???

Why exactly do you want the Ebug? I guess that is what I'ld ask myself.

What are you going to do with it that you cant do with your little bug?

I guess my decision would weigh on those two things. Good Luck deciding!
It's great your DH is okay with it.

I do not have either cricut yet. I have been looking and leaning towards the Ebug. Does it cut any bigger or just longer? I have a friend who has the small one and can cut up to 5" or so. Can you take the same cart and cut it up to 12" wide? I am so confused. But to me bigger is better. Also, I like that I wouldn't have to pretrim my paper; that parts seems like a pain.

I know exactly how you feel. I have been dealing with those feelings for the last 2 weeks. I had the money to get the e-bug and I really wanted it, but I had a hard time because my little bug is so new and that's a lot of money. I finally hit submit on my order yesterday. I'm not sure that I can be much help in giving advice on whether to do it or not, but wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I decided to do it because of the additional features it offers and because sometimes I would like to be able to cut bigger than 5" and sometimes I want letters smaller than 1". Good luck with your decision.

There are a few features the new Ebug has that are pretty cool, and there are some real advantages to using bigger paper. BUT, I really doubt that I would get both. If there had been an awesome sale on the small one, I wou ld have gotten that one.

Yes - the old carts will make bigger objects on the new one. I think I would try unloading the small one - surely you have a crafty friend who would buy it off you.

Good luck!

Jen

It is in my shopping cart right now. I just need to call my DH to get the debit card number (I lost my card). I am going to purchase the big bug and sell the small one for $100 with no carts and 1 mat. I have a friend who might be interested here as well.

Thanks for the enabling!

Go for it, and Enjoy it. I expect to see some comparison cuts from you and Amy so I can see the differences! good luck selling it if you want to, I think i'ld have to keep mine for take along purposes, unless you tell me the new is more portable and lighter than it looks.

Oh, I know all about cricut.com . I've been a member there since December and I check it out every day. That's part of the problem!

I did it!!!! I can't believe it!!! I just bid on an Expression online from Custom Crops (because I need to pay by Paypal) and I actually won it for $290!! With shipping it will be $314 which is a pretty good deal. I decided not to get the AC Moore bundle because I don't really want Paper Pups and I might buy Stretch Your Imagination separately later.

I can't believe I actually did it!!! My DH said to wait until tomorrow. Oops!

I don't usually remember to check this thread, I usually am on the fun and games one. But I started reading it this morning, and saw that the carts are on sale at Michaels......so I had to go and get the Mickey font since I actually had a little $ for once, lol. Love it!!! I can't wait to use it! I'm going to a scrapbooking retreat this weekend, so I'm sure it will get a lot of use, lol.
